Makes a great cup of coffee
My old French press was too small. I need two cups of coffee and hubby drinks one. The old French press only made two cups, so I needed a larger one. I have other Zojirushi things and I figured their French press would be good quality.It does have a bit of a learning curve to it but I figured out that it doesn’t need to be fully disassembled to be cleaned. After I make my pot of coffee, I shake the used grounds into the compost container, then rinse out the press, fill it with hot water and detergent, put the plunger in, and let it sit while I go to work. When I get home I empty and rinse it, and put it away to use the next morning.I did have to refer to the instructions a couple of times when I first used it, but to me, that’s a small price to pay. It’s easy to use, makes really good coffee, and it looks good.

Makes a fine pot of coffee
Excellent coffee maker. I would have given it five stars except it does have a learning curve and the seals are so tight it takes some effort. We use it daily.

Great French Press
I am very happy with this French Press. It is easy to use, does not spill, and filters coffee particles very well. It looks pretty, made of steel and BPA safe plastic. I researched tons of reviews on many French presses before choosing the Zojirushi brand. It is not cheap, but it is worth the high cost. I also bought the same brand travel mug and I am very happy with it as well.

Not worth the money
Too complicated and does not work well… coffee grounds in coffee.

Fabulous cup of hot coffee
When my old coffeemaker died, I wanted good coffee without the plastic and footprint of a traditional coffeemaker. Several French press items made a good tasting cup of lukewarm coffee. Temperature matters. I went back to my favorite Zojirushi travel cup which, 5 hours later, coffee is still piping hot. Same with the Zojirushi French Press – perfect cup of piping hot coffee and problem solved. So simple to use!

Expensive coffee press
I love the brand and all of Zojirushi’s products are exceptional. However, this is just a really expensive coffee press. It wasn’t really worth the $75! I suppose I assumed the Zojirushi brand would somehow make the coffee better but it didn’t!

Expensive but works amazingly well
Great flavor and particle-free coffee enough for 3 people,fast and easy to clean afterwards. Nothing like the cheap junky glass press I used in the past. Taste is very similar to 800$ coffee machine i use at home. The legendary Zojerushi insulation keeps it burning hot for 2 hours.

Nice and hot
Zojirushi is a great brand, so I decided to pay a little more for this press.The size is good. If there was a larger version I would buy it.The coffee stays hot for most of a day. After about six hours I need to reheat a cup from the carafe.The screen is easy to clean but a little complex.
