No escribo muchas reviews aquÃ en Amazon y solo lo hago cuando un producto me encanta o maravilla y este es el caso. EmpecÃ© a beber tÃ© hace ya varios aÃ±os y como muchos, fue con la clÃ¡sica bolsita de que pones dentro de tu taza y viertes agua hirviendo; nada especial y esa fue mi forma de beber tÃ© por mucho tiempo hasta que en una ocasiÃ³n me regalaron un tÃ© (tisana en realidad) con un pequeÃ±o infusor y en ese momento me olvidÃ© por completo de las bolsitas y comenzÃ³ mi bÃºsqueda por autentico tÃ© de hoja suelta y sus diversos mÃ©todos de preparaciÃ³n e infusiÃ³n.Normalmente preparo el tÃ© usando una fabulosa tetera elÃ©ctrica y completamente automÃ¡tica (ver Breville the Tea Maker), sin embargo, la mÃnima cantidad de preparaciÃ³n de tÃ© es de 500ml y en muchas ocasiones quieres menos tÃ©, o tienes que usar muchos mÃ¡s gramos de hoja para tal cantidad de agua, o simplemente quieres tu tÃ© usando una forma distinta de preparaciÃ³n y aquÃ es donde entra este fantÃ¡stico aparato para hacer infusiones al estilo gong fu cha de forma sencilla y rÃ¡pida; cuando no tienes todo el tiempo o no quieres realizar toda la ceremonia/ritual del tÃ©. Si ya conoces el gong fu cha y tambiÃ©n variadas formas de preparaciÃ³n japonesas, sabrÃ¡s que la proporciÃ³n de hoja y agua es distinta al mÃ©todo occidental (unos 5 o 6 gr de tÃ© por entre 45ml a 150ml de agua dependiendo el tipo de tÃ©, el gusto personal, etc), asÃ como los tiempos de infusiÃ³n que suelen ser mucho mÃ¡s cortos. Este set lo hace muy fÃ¡cil.REVIEW ABAJO:El producto viene con un estuche de buena calidad para transportarlo, yo lo uso Ãºnicamente en casa pero es muy Ãºtil por si necesitas transportarlo. Ojo, no es como un termo/botella ni se enrosca en sus partes que lo componen. Tengo entendido que existe una versiÃ³n de cristal pero no la pude encontrar disponible en Amazon, la versiÃ³n que se vende aquÃ es de plÃ¡stico âTritanâ, a pesar de no ser de vidrio, el plÃ¡stico se siente de mucha calidad y es muy ligero. Las partes de silicona tambiÃ©n se sienten de muy buena calidad y el filtro es de acero inoxidable. El diseÃ±o del set es bastante ingenioso e incluso me atreverÃa a decir que âlindoâ. Usa una bola de acero en conjunto con un botÃ³n para dejar pasar la infusiÃ³n a la parte de abajo donde cae al contenedor de doble pared que forma parte del set. A pesar de ser un diseÃ±o sencillo, no he tenido ni una sola filtraciÃ³n de agua/tÃ© a la parte de abajo antes de tiempo, solo asegÃºrate de quitar el filtro y colocar la bola de acero perfectamente en su lugar.Las hojas se colocan en la parte superior, agregas el agua deseada y con el tiempo deseado; se presiona el botÃ³n en el centro y el lÃquido cae a la parte de abajo y listo. Realmente una forma muy fÃ¡cil de preparar tu tÃ©. TambiÃ©n puedes usar la taza o contenedor que tu quieras debajo del infusor para filtrar el tÃ© (ver la segunda foto). Realmente lo considero una super compra ya que me permite hacer infusiones con un volumen mucho menor de agua que mi tetera elÃ©ctrica, fÃ¡cil y sin hacer ni un poco de desastre donde sea que se use. Por Ãºltimo recordar que preparar tÃ© es un arte, no una ciencia y que siempre puedes experimentar con distintos tes, gramajes, volÃºmenes de agua y tiempos de infusiÃ³n; es una experiencia personal. One star for nice color
I like the look of it at first, and when I started using it, it was fine and then it started leaking which lead to a spill all over my desk at work. Ughh not worth $32.00 thatâs for sure. Beings though is all plastic and rubber. With that said, I ended up having to buy a bottle infuser which I love.Please lower your price on this cheap product, weâre dealing with a pandemic and itâs just not worth thirty something dollars. That is a total rip off. DO NOT BUT THIS PRODUCT FOR REAL USE MAYBE FOR YOUR KIDS TO PLAY WITH IN THE TUB. Still too expensive

great little travel tea pot
I needed my tea fix when traveling so found this little guy. It’s cute, it works well, just what I need for traveling with loose leaf tea. and small enough to fit anywhere in my bags. Cleaning is hard if you’re removing the grate between where the tea steeps and the exit into the cup. It is not designed to travel with liquid in it and mind the fill line mark. Don’t mistake it for what it’s not and it’s great.

Very Convenient Way to Make Tea
I LOVE this travel tea set and use it everyday at work and at home.I debated on this style here or a glass travel set. I am so happy I chose this one. I personally have had no troubles with leaking from the âbuttonâ.Thereâs plenty of room to steep and make multiple cups of whole leaf tea.I now want a second set so I can leave home at work and leave one at home.Cleaning can be a bit tedious compared to a set that doesnât include the âbuttonâ feature and you simply pour. I find the cleaning worth it for all the features and ease of use I get with this set.Note: this is NOT a leakproof bottle where you can make tea and bring it with you. This is meant to be used while sitting at a desk or table.

Perfect for one-person gong fu cha and loose leaf on the go.
This thing is awesomeIt has to be mentioned that this is intended for gong fu cha style brewing. If you have your own set and want something convenient, portable, and very well designed, you’ll like this.The cup is double insulated to protect your hands. The silicone center also resists heat. The mechanism is surprisingly simple, easy to clean, and just looking at it you can tell it’s going to last a while as long as you’re not beating it up.The top does not click onto the bottom, I think this is intended because it makes sense for gong fu cha and how this device operates. The flat lid can also act as a base for the silicone, and I like using it this way because you can smell the aroma of your brewing reservoir and the steaming tea while you enjoy your cup. The silicone doesn’t drip at all and that’s nice for if you don’t want to use the lid base and keep it enclosed between steps. Snapping or locking together would be a nice design improvement because it would allow it to be carried without the case, but it still works perfectly if used as designed. My only major complaint is that I wish it were dishwasher safe, because I’m lazy even with how easy it is to clean.

This is so great
I LOVE this. I ordered it to replace my old one, which broke because the top section was made of glass. This one seems to be all good quality plastic, so Iâm not worried about a repeat. Itâs adorable, for one thing. I donât know if this is an everyone thing, or a âme and five year oldsâ thing, but I love pressing the button and watching my tea drain into the cup at the perfect steeping time and secretly feeling a little like a tea chemist(/mad scientist).The best thing about this is how easy it is to steep things perfectly. Iâve had tea containers before that had strainers in them, and thatâs great depending on what kind of tea youâre having, but itâs annoying to have to take out and get rid of the leaves at the right moment, or find somewhere to keep them if you want to re-steep later. This is AMAZING for that. Put your leaves in the top, add hot water, wait exact length of time, push buttonâ¦ then you have your perfect tea in bottom cup, and you leave the leaves in the top until youâre ready to repeat for the next cup.I use this mostly for pu-erh tea and itâs perfect, seriously so easy. A great size for it too, especially given how many steeps you can do of the same leaves. If Iâm making chai tea or something this wouldnât be my go-to, because I want a bigger mug to mix milk etc. in, and I want more to drink longer.Itâs not meant to be an insulated container for tea, so donât expect anything like that. Youâre making a small cup at a time, as you want to drink it. The base cup is a completely normal cup in that regard, though I suppose it loses heat a little faster than your standard mug because thereâs less in it, so more surface area vs substance to lose heat from. Iâve never had an issue with tea cooking before I drink it.Itâs pretty easy to clean, too. Just rinse it carefully after use and youâre not going to end up needing much more. Iâd suggest removing the metal strainer and rinsing under the parts where itâs held in- I think thatâs what would be hardest to deal with, if you let mold get started there.
