Poorly designed
I was so excited to get this and use it because we travel alot and I wanted a personal size kettle for my tea on the go. This product was just way to flimsy and poorly designed. The glass seems too thin and looks like it will not hold up very long. The biggest downside for me is that the top portion just simply sits on top instead of screwing on. It seems very unsecure considering hot liquid will be inside of it. I just feel like a simple bump into it while it’s hot is going to cause it to spill very easily causing me to get burned. I like the size and compact size but the flaws outweigh the looks. I really wanted to love this. I will be returning it.

I had the plastic edition first and then up graded to this glass one. Pictured the drinking part. It’s a bit heavy with double walled glass took me abit to get used to it. But I’m really liking the sturdy Ness now. Hold heat well. Not always that much leaf; my bad.

Beautiful and functional
Love this product, good quality and bot an eye sore on my counter. It does a good job keeping the tea hot and i love that itâs clear. There are no complicated parts so cleaning is easy. I guess my only complaint would be i wish there was a little more space for water as it has to be exactly at the fill line or it will overflow. And i wish the top screwed on so knocking it over wasnât such a worry. Otherwise it works great.ðð½

Incredibly useful, but flawed
In general, the design of this infuser is wonderful. You can get the flavor of gong fu tea with far fewer dishes. Because of this I have been using it almost every day for months. But there are many ways this product could be even improved.(1) there are plastic pieces inside the infuser, I would rather not drink hot tea that has been in contact with plastic(2) the travel case feels really cheap, I don’t think it actually protects the infuser at all (it just keeps everything together basically)(3) if you try to pour tea from the reservoir, it spills everywhere. If it would pour correctly you could serve tea for multiple people or more easily transfer tea to a to-go bottle

Great BUT one (potentially) fatal flaw… BE SURE STRAINER IS SCREWED IN!
got this for my wife, but i use it too.BEWARE when you clean it. there is a steel ball that easily and without notice falls out from under the strainer, and could get lost down the sink or in the trash when you clean out the used tea.Be sure to notice that strainer “screws” in by turning it to the right, so that ball will not fall out. Or, turn to the left to remove strainer and ball falls out, making it easy to clean that part if needed.Probably in the instructions that i didn’t read, so this could all be operator error… again :)otherwise, works great.If you lose the steel ball, the water will not stay in the top part, but immediately falls through without seeping in the tea the required amount of time.Be careful and don’t lose the ball, life is great. Lose the ball, and not so much. Poor design, but not deal breaker if the user is aware.

Works great and the strainer fits in other cups as well
I bought this for my husband for Christmas, he absolutely loves tea and he loved this gift. It is beautifully made and comes with a neoprene hard/soft case for travel. I would say it is a high quality item and worth the buy.
