Awesome little Milk Frother
I have been using the battery powered frothers for quite a while. They have no power and the batteries run out quickly. This appliance is wonderful. It is very powerful and does the job perfectly. It has many uses. There are three attachments. Plus, it is rechargeable and the charge lasts a long time. Very good quality.

Putting my $.02 into the mix
My old, lame hand mixer finally gave up the ghost. I ordered one of those âstick blendersâ but it was waaaay too powerful for my purposes. (I donât need it to dice/chop/pulverize fruits or veggies – if you need that, this mixer isnât for you.) I needed something in between. I kept coming back to the âmilk frothers,â but I had my doubts that one of those could mix up my morning shake. I tried a frother some years ago, and it wasnât designed for blending ingredients, just for frothing liquids. Still, I had an idea (like some of you might) that what I needed was not a true stick mixer, nor a true milk frother. Something in between. I needed a âfrother on steroids.â I settled on this one-the YUSWKO YW-218. It had the regular frothing head, but also two other heads. One looks like a mini bread hook; the other like a mini whisk. I plugged it into charge and it did take the stated time to come to a full charge. (Like any kid with a new toy, I tried turning it on before charging, but the low state of charge resulted in the high-medium-low settings not behaving correctly.) For my first few forays into blending, I tried the mini bread hook thingee. It worked OK, but not as well nor as quickly as I wanted. I then shifted to the mini whisk thingee. I didnât really prepare well. I combined my milk-protein powder-carnation breakfast-malt flavoring-imitation (yeah, I know, it probably causes cancer, but only in California) vanilla flavoring concoction into my normal medium-sized concession cup (you know, the smaller ones you get at high school basketball games), lowered the whisk head into the goop, and turned it to âlow.â In a second, I was wearing my shake. But the power capacity was more than enough to do what I was needing. Anyway, since that first attempt with the whisk head, Iâve gotten the routine down. And it is EXACTLY what I needed. (Iâll try to attach a video to show you.). Clean up is simple. You can do it with soapy water and a brush or rag, but I just run the thing in clear water and ensure I get all the sticky stuff off. I tried the soapy water, but I got a LOT of suds. A few pointers. First, charge it up all the way before using it. I havenât had to recharge for two weeks now. Youâll use a regular, small phone-charging brick. (Two words of CAUTION. I found that the included, cheap charging cord did not work. It got really hot, like there was an electrical short in it. So I found one of my own. Also, DO NOT USE the larger charging blocks like the ones from Ap*le. I tried and it was too much.) Second, I assumed that the low speed would be the less aggressive and thus the less âthrow-stuff-out-of-the-cupâ setting. But that hasnât proven true for me. Iâve found that the medium setting makes my ingredients behave better (less throw-out and quicker blending). Experiment with different speeds, even though it may not make immediate sense. Third, practice with plain water first (Iâve already told you how I know this). Thatâll give you a âfeelâ for what this frother will do. Fourth, practice with different sized cups. Iâve since changed to the taller concession cups, as they prevent throw-out. Fifth, start practicing with your cups down in a sink. Less mess to clean up and no need to change clothes before you head out to work or school (Iâm a teacher). Finally, familiarize yourself with the way the three buttons work. My previous mixer required me to keep the button depressed to blend. If I let up on the button, the unit would stop. Not so with this one. A light press to start, let go, then a light press to stop. Donât keep mashing the button. Final thoughts: this frother is just what I needed. If your experience sounds like mine, I think this oneâll give you good service.

Outstanding performance, could use stand and attachment mods
Like:Performance. This mixer is a beast in mixing or frothing. VERY STRONG and FAST!Agronomic. Easy to hold.Power. Rechargeable through typical c usb cord, with one provided. We used for over a month and never recharged it, so it has a long battery life.Dislike:Initially detaching the various beaters/mixers is difficult, now after it goes find. May of had a burr or something that prevented ease of attachment at first. But now works great.Not easy to put in or remove from stand, just wobbly and not well thought out design. Either open the stand more for easier insertion/removal and give it a larger diameter/ heavier stand base. Typically we knock it over when using the stand. We now just place it in a decorative tall glass for storage.

Works great
This is probably the third frother that I bought. The other two were battery operated from a different company. They were fine but only lasted about a year each. Iâve only had this one for a little over a month, but it definitely works better than either of my other two did. I havenât had to recharge it yet and I use it every day for my coffee protein drink. I started out with the whisk attachment, but it was so aggressive. My cup was spilling over. I can see it being really great if youâre trying to make a small amount of whipped cream. I switched to the frother and itâs perfect. Itâs very powerful, easy to clean, and the stick is long enough that you donât end up getting splatter on the actual handle. I really like that you can pull the ends off for more thorough cleaning. I would definitely buy this again. Again itâs a little early in my use but so far Iâm extremely happy.

I’ve had this frother for almost a year and it’s one of the best kitchen gadgets I’ve acquired.I’ll reinforce what others have said:- itâs rechargeable (this was my #1 necessity when looking at frothers, as I didn’t want to be buying AA batteries all the time),- charge lasts a long time,- having three buttons for three speeds is much nicer than just one button that you have to press multiple times to cycle through the speeds (looking at you, DAVIDsTEA),- the multiple attachments are cool even though I only use the frothing one.I use my frother for matcha, hot chocolate, powdered broths, and latte powders/mixes. Would probably be good for protein/meal replacement powders as well.To avoid spillage, I only fill to about Â¼ to â and get a pretty good froth off of that. I start by adding a little hot water to my latte/matcha powder, froth on lowest speed to blend, then add oat milk, froth on low to get a nice foam layer, then fill the rest of the mug with oat milk to complete the latte.

First of all it doesn’t has a USB type-C as mentioned in the image. I recieved a product that is totally different from the image in the description. It doesn’t work. Doesn’t get charged even. Very poor build quality.

Did a bunch of research trying to find a good little frother/blender and this one ticked all the boxes. It is rechargeable which is really important since you don’t have to keep replacing batteries, and reviews were good about the quality build and speed so decided to go with this more expensive unit to avoid the throw away crap. Did note the reviews about it being so powerful it shot the liquid everywhere but thought I would give it a shot. And now I have to agree. I really like the unit but there is a design flaw in that a hand blender has a cover to catch the liquid but this unit doesn’t have anything so it definitely shoots everywhere even just using it on the lowest speed. The results are good but you have to make sure you use a tall beaker or a deep bowl as you get splashed all over. Too bad as this would be the perfect little frother/mixer unit. Going to try and come up with some cap on top to deflect the liquids. Makes you wonder about the designers as they obviously never tested the product. Not sure why this wasn’t identified as an issue with other units available but definitely a problem with this one. The only other concern is the insert that holds the attachments is plastic and hoping it is tough enough not to break easily. Overall like the unit but needs some work.

This is a game changer for quick mixing and so easy to use and clean. Great for smoothies and adding in vitamins. It holds a charge for multiple uses.
