Love the Handle—Makes It So Much Easier to Use!
This Yeti cup with a handle is my new favorite! I have a better grip on it now, which makes it so much easier to carry around, especially when it’s full. The handle is sturdy and feels comfortable in my hand. Just a heads-up: because of the handle, it doesn’t fit in every car cup holder, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to take it on the road. Other than that, it keeps my drinks cold (or hot!) for hours, just like you’d expect from Yeti. Perfect for anyone who wants extra grip with their cup!

TL/DR: This thing is great, but not without some negatives. The top is great, but the mug is heavy.PROs: ——— Keeps coffee hot for hours, longer than most other insulated tumblers I’ve tried.- Sliding magnetic top is GENIUS! Works every time, doesn’t catch like the rubber- gasketed ones. It’s also REMOVABLE for cleaning! Again, Genius! (but see Con below)- This holds about 20 ounces, if it’s fuller than that you can’t put the lid on- well, you can, but it overflows.- Easy cleaning: dishwasher safe. You can remove the edge gasket to clean it and the groove where it goes. The slider part also is removable. And if you were to lose the slider, you can get new ones from Yeti. (Actually, you can even get color-matched ones of you want.)CONs: ——— Heavy!! Don’t know what they put in there, but it feels like it’s solid steel. Add the weight of the beverage, and it’s seriously heavy. Those with wrist/arm problems should avoid.- Slider top: I haven’t found a way to open it with one hand, i.e. while holding the mug. Not a huge deal, but I have to slide it open, then pick it up and drink, then put it down, then close it. Other tumblers I’ve used let you open the top with a finger while holding the mug. Probably a minor issue.

Standing at 6.4 inches high with a lip diameter of 4.6 inches, and 5 inches wide with the handle, it’s the perfect size for a large coffee in the morning. The magnetic slider closure in the lid is easy to use and helps maintain the drink’s temperature longer. It’s also easy to remove for thorough cleaning, which is great because those with permanent slider tops tend to get pretty grungy underneath.For those giving it a bad review because it isn’t leakproof — it isn’t, nor does it claim to be. In fact it specifically points out that it isn’t, so keep that in mind when buying.One of my favorite moments with this mug was during our last camping trip. I woke up early to a chilly morning and filled my YETI with hot coffee. Sitting by the campfire, I was able to enjoy my coffee slowly, savoring the warmth that lasted for hours. The mug’s wide handle is perfect, whether grabbing it in a fist or sliding my hand through the handle to grab it around the barrel.The 5-year warranty is the icing on the cake, providing peace of mind that this mug is built to last.
