This nail grinder feels like itâs good quality. I appreciate that the instructions include how to slowly get the dog used to the grinder before actually using it on them. I havenât used it yet because my dog doesnât like her nails being trimmer so I have only turned it on and held it close to her while giving her treats, but it is really quiet and easy to hold so I think it will work well. There are three speed settings, a light on the end that you can turn on and off and a battery indicator that shows 25/50/75%. The grinding bit is like a stone rather than sand paper so I feel like it will be durable and usable for a while, plus thereâs an extra one. It is all as described. So far I would recommend it!

The fact that this product comes with the nail clippers is a great value for money. I bought the dual package. Nail clipper is as expected, sturdy and good size for medium to large dog size. The grinder comes with a spare, has a protective shield (though can be removed and used without), and is soft enough in sound to not scare my husky x GSD mix. It charges fast and doesn’t drain the battery to quick (have not even had to charge it yet after couple uses on different dogs) even if you use the added light function. All round great product and would recommend for dog lovers alike.

It’s alright overall
The clippers are good, though I’m not great at the clipping part. My dog has all dark nails. That being said, the grinder has a lot to be desired for me. If you have a smaller dog then it’s probably fine. I was thinking that it would be and either or situation where I could cut and grind or just grind if I wanted to. It takes a long time to get through any meaningful amount of nail.To me it’s clear now the set is meant to cut and use the grinder to smooth. For the price I guess I don’t know what I expected lol. If you prefer grinding your dogs nails, get a more expensive dremel.Edit: 3/30/25 The company responded to my review offering a full refund, which I did take. They did not request that I return the product. They also said in another message that they would be working on the quality of their grinder so that it would be more applicable in more situations. Do with that information what you will, but it was a pleasant customer service experience nonetheless.

Charge lasts, light is more helpful then you would think
My 10 year Yorkie hated clipping nails, would “pray” when I got the clipper… This thing is great, he tolerates it much better, he doesn’t pull away. I have not used the clipper included. It’s not loud, not a lot of vibration. It takes some coordination to get the hang of. Use a towel on your lap for dust…. Don’t let it heat up.. take breaks, use treats

It’s been a few months since I’ve used this as I didn’t want to write a review while my dog was still a little unsure of it.But after some training, I can honestly say that I enjoy this product far more than I thought I would. I am always skeptical on buying clippers because my previous ones are a little weak, so having clippers come in a pack that were durable enough to clip my dog’s nails was a very nice surprise.Everything is easy to use, the grinder has several modes and it holds a LOT of battery charge to it. I only charged it once in the several months of use and its still going strong so far. I haven’t yet had to change the grinding nub and it does a very good job on getting my dogs nails down to a length I like.The only suggestion, which isn’t even a concern, is having some kind of guard on the grinder that could trap the dust without hindering the way an individual has to grind their dog’s nails.Overall, I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to others.

Excellent sharpener
This nail sharpener has been a great solution for my dog’s care. It is very quiet, so it doesn’t scare him, and the three speeds allow you to adjust it according to the thickness of the nails. I have used it on both a large and small dog, and it works great on both.The design is comfortable to hold, and the battery lasts quite a while. It also includes an extra bit, which is a nice bonus. Much easier and safer than traditional nail clippers – highly recommended!

Disclaimer: I’ve been using this product for less than a month, so I can’t yet comment on its long-term durability.I was pleasantly surprised by how exceptionally sharp these nail clippers areâfar sharper than the last expensive pair I purchased, which, disappointingly, didnât even include a grinder. These clippers make precise, clean cuts with minimal effort, reducing the risk of splintering or crushing the nail, which Iâve experienced with lower-quality clippers in the past.The included grinder is an absolute game-changer. It operates extremely quietly, which is a huge plus for pets that are skittish about loud noises. The built-in light is a fantastic feature, allowing me to see the nail clearly and avoid cutting too close to the quick. It does take a little practice to figure out the best way to angle the grinder and smoothly shape the nails, but once I got the hang of it, the process was much easier.I was able to round and smooth out my dog’s claws beautifully, giving them a gentle, polished finish rather than the sharp edges that sometimes result from clipping alone. Grinder is quiet, comfortable to hold and work around nail
The grinder works very nicely on my Jack Terrierâs nails and he is calmer than with any other grinder we have used. We have used this for only a short time so I donât know how long it will last. For now we are both happy with how quietly and smoothly it runs.My only complaint is with the nail clipper. It literally came apart the first time I opened it. I put the spring back in and managed to put the rest back together. Sharp blade-it cuts without squeezing the nail. However I have to put the pieces back together after each cut. Disapointing.
