Heat is not insulated. The exterior gets too hot to hold when there is a hot liquid inside.Does not fit into a standard size car cupholder.Liquid easily leaks out of the top when covered.I don’t recommend this product.

The item was delivered damaged. That aside, the pictures are much fancier than the actual product. A fragile ceramic mug, wrapped in a teary cheap plastic. Not worth it

A luxurious travel mug
I bought this mug because I am allergic to nickel that can be present and stainless steel mugs and rubber, which I am leery might be present in mugs with rubber grips. Since this is ceramic and silicone, I gave it a shot. Although I was a little skeptical about the price.My very first thought was that this mug actually feels like curiously soft. Like it is buttery soft, almost like a pair of Lularoe leggings. Unlike most to travel mugs, it is pleasant to drink from without the lid on, but not annoying to drink out of with the lid on. The lid is decent, it will leak, and it is easy for the cover two in advertently be opened when you donât want it to be. But if you want a decadent cup of coffee and donât need to worry about spelling, this is in excellent mug.Edited to add: I should say, it gets very hot to the touch. I usually give it a minute or two after pouring my coffee before I will hold it. Also, while it is better at keeping my coffee hot than a regular lidless ceramic mug, it doesnât keep coffee warm forever (Iâm guessing an hour or less). Nonetheless, I still love the mug.

Love it!
It is a great cup. I love the color and the size! It is easily breakable but that’s expected! It is ceramic..It keeps my tea warm for just a little longer than a regular coffee cup would, due to its lid. Speaking on the lid, it is not leak proof if turned upside down or on its side. However, the lid does prevent all of the contents from spilling out all at once. If it does happen to tip over, you will be able to save most of your drink.Anyway. I love my cup and this is exactly what I was looking for!

Honest review incoming
These mugs suck. I was so excited to order these because theyâre so freaking cute! When I finally received them, I washed them right away and put them out to use the next morning! I made some hot tea for both my husband and I and poured it into our mugs. The mug became so hot that it was honestly hard to hold. The lid didnât not stay secure, luckily my husband caught it before it spilled in his car! He has a 15 minute ride to work and he said by the time he got there (maybe 25 minute since I made the tea and put it in the mug) he said that the mug was still very warm but he tea was not. Almost like all the heat left the tea and just made the cup hot! Ended up returning these mugs and went with the Stanley hot travel mugs instead!Just save yourself a trip to the Amazon return spot and order something else

Good Coffee Mug
For all intents and purposes, this is a great mug if you want to keep liquids from spilling while maintaining temperature for a little bit.The mug itself is not leak-proof by far. I got this because I’ve knocked over 2 coffee mugs at work on my desk. If I do the same with this, it will be less of a mess. I haven’t knocked this over, and I doubt it would leak out of the seal, but liquid does get in-between the lines of the open-close slide. And if you close it without it being dry, whatever liquid is in there will splash out of the back of the slide. Because of that, I keep mine open all the time.The mug is not like a YETI or anything similar. It gets hot and you can hurt yourself depending on how you hold it. The ceramic is exposed on the bottom, so the top and bottom will get very, very hot. It also doesn’t hold heat very long.PROS:- Retains temperature for a longer time than any normal mug- Can be closed- Easy to cleanCONS:- The bottom rubber is rounded making it easier to fall over- Closing the slide with liquid inside makes liquid splash out the back- Lots of exposed ceramic to burn yourself with

Important changes need to be made…
I bought this mug because I need a reusable to-go coffee cup and I hate the metallic taste that steel-insulated cups give my hot drinks. For the most part, this works just fine, but there are some improvements I would like to see and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend until these changes are made:1) The lid is not leak-proof as advertised. While the rubber ring connects the lid to the mug itself just fine, it’s the lid itself that leaks. The slide that opens and closes the lid does not have any rubber seal and my coffee leaks every time I use it. I wouldn’t expect it to survive jumping jacks or cartwheels, but I would hope that driving around with it in my cupholder would be no problem. Not the case. I would like to see a complete seal in every aspect of the lid to prevent splashes/leaks (and a screwed cap rather than a “pop in” cap would be nice too).2) The silicone exterior is too big for the mug and tends to slide down (and it’s not a great insulator). This wouldn’t normally be a big deal except that the mug sits on that same silicone, and when it slides down it causes the cup to become unstable on a surface. As if it’s sitting on a cushion instead.3) Going back to the lid, it’s always nice to have a mouthpiece that doesn’t leave coffee all over the lid every time you drink it. Not the biggest issue, but something to point out. Having a mouthpiece that drains excess coffee back into the cup would be nice so I don’t have to slurp the lid after every sip.4) Heat — this one doesn’t bother me personally, because I drink my coffee pretty quickly but any warm drink you put in doesn’t stay insulated for very long. Hour tops before it becomes lukewarm. Probably a result of the bad silicone insulation as it gets very hot in your hand. I’ve seen other “double walled” vacuum insulated mugs out there so I know it can be done.I hope this review finds the eyes of the manufacturers/designers and some changes are made because this really could be a fantastic to-go mug that appeals to the eyes, fits ergonomically in the hand, fits in nearly all cupholders and Keurigs, and leaves your drink tasting as they should.

Beautiful mug, but disappointing that it doesn’t even insulate against hot drinks. I bought this after being the glass silicon glass which they are selling too. I tried to make some hot tea, the mug gets too hot to be held in hands. Otherwise, use it for your room temperature drinks it is good.
