Nice red oak stamp. No grain defects in my stamp to crack. Makes nice design
Looks sturdy obviously CNC routed in nice piece of red oak. Crisp edges with no sawdust. No oil on wood but food grade oil could be used on it.I showedAdditional 2.5 inch cutter I used to make the shortbread cutouts from chilled 1/4 dough shown. Press could not be used until discs softened on cookie sheet. Make certain to dust in flour between each disc or dough will stick to open grain of red oak. Used toothpick to clean one time I tried doing 2 cookie discs without flour.Recipe I used was from Choclatier Magazine Dec 94 page 37.350F 10-14 minutes until goldenBeat 4 sticks softened salt free butter with 2 tablespoons vanilla and 1/4 tsp salt. Add to blender 4 cups nice unbleached four with 1 cup powdered sugar. Roll dough to 1/4â thick between 2 sheets waxed paper. Refrigerate on cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Used toothpick metal cutout to make stiff discs and place on cookie sheet. After they are softened use the stamp on each cookie before baking in oven. I will buy more stamps as I figure out which designs donât stress grain on stamps and crack. Reviewers please state which designs have cracked. I am a woodworker so I realize wood is not always perfect, but I suspect some of designs might be too much stress for some wood stamps. Nice product!

Fabulous detail!
Loved the detail. Worked better than I expected as far as cookie release. I will definitely buy more in the future. Great quality. Well worth the price.

Beautiful cookies. Hold the shape well.
Used this stamp with Sallyâs baking addiction âcinnamon brown sugar stamped cookiesâ recipe. I will say you need to flour the stamp heavily between stampings. Roll a dough ball, center, then stamp. I couldnât get the edges to be uniform, not sure if it was the recipe or the technique. The stamp needs to be cleaned with a brush right away aftet to get into the grooves, otherwise the dough will harden and be impossible to remove. Since itâs wood you want to avoid soaking otherwise it will crack over time. I will def be buying more of these for other holidays and events. I was very skeptical at first (esp with Amazonâs diminishing quality) but ended up being impressed by the product! Well made and great results.

These are amazing. What can I say? Beautifulâ¦functionalâ¦works of art. Iâve purchased many this holiday season and Iâm thrilled with every one. I have them on display instead of hiding them away with my other cutters, stamps, and tools. Iâm sure these wonât be my last.
