Great for specific uses.
I purchased this grinder specifically for smoke-product. I’ve already got a decent burr grinder for coffee as well as a Nutri-Bullet for food. This item is a generic grinder identical to numerous others offered on Amazon. I chose this model solely because every version on Amazon had good reviews and this version was the least expensive of all the other clones marketed under other “brand names.”I had only used a hand-grinder previously. Some people may be very particular about grinding their herb. I’m that way about coffee grinders–I spend a lot of money to get a very specific type of grind for my beans and would never use something like this. I am not as picky when it comes to smoke-product. I just hate to use the hand-held grinders because the herb gets stuck all up in the metal teeth that do the grinding. I also don’t like trying to get the herb from the hand-held grinder into my storage container. That said, hand-grinders normally come with screens in order to catch resin and that is a feature some people demand. You will not get that with an electric grinder like this. This electric grinder works perfectly fine for my purposes. You just put the product in the large bowl, do a few “pulse” grinds, and that’s it. You can just dump the ground herb into your storage container with a funnel. They include a small brush and I use that to sweep out the interior of the bowl. You’ll still need to remove the stems before grinding. Without being over dramatic–I REALLY prefer grinding my herb this way because it is fast & convenient.Since I do use this grinder solely for smoke-product I don’t bother washing or cleaning it thoroughly because I’m only grinding one particular herb. The device seems well made, but since I’m only grinding small amounts of herb and the grinder only needs to be turned on for short bursts (<5 seconds) I'm not pushing it electrically or mechanically. If your needs and expectations are the same as mine, then this model does the job. I would recommend the lowest-priced version you can find of this particular model (regardless of "brand name."

Excellent grinder except for loose rubber ring
I’ve tried 3 different buzz grinders, this one is by far the best. Just great in every way except one – the rubber ring that goes around the clear cap falls off too easily and too often. I emailed customer support and was told a replacement rubber ring is not available, but if I’d give my address, they would send a new grinder. But they did not do so. After a while, I decided to apply one drop of super glue to the rubber ring, and now it does not fall off any more. OTHER THAN THE RUBBER RING FALLING OFF, this is a superb, excellent grinder – it grinds so fast and so thoroughly you have to make sure not to over-grind your beans. But since you can easily see the grounds through the clear cap, it’s easy to use. Love it.

perfect for me
So I ordered this last minute because I accidentally bought coffee beans at the store. And it wasn’t the first time I’ve done it, so I figured I should have a coffee grinder for just the occasion. Great price! And since I’m not using this all the time its perfect! Used it as soon as it arrived, works great. I’m sitting here drinking my FRESH coffee as I type this upHighly recommend!* the only downside is, its small. But that is also a plus because if you are like me, you don’t use it often so its easy to store

Good product, good service
I thought I had a problem with this grinder, but it turned to be my outlet.I used this grinder 2 times when it suddenly stopped working in the middle of what i was grinding. I thought it was because there was something wrong with the grinder, so I started the exchange process, asking them to send me a replacement. When i got the replacement, I tried it and found that one wouldn’t work either. That was when it occurred to me that perhaps the problem was not the grinder in the first place. As it turned out, the problem was my outlet.I fixed the outlet problem by pressing the reset button (after which I tried real hard not to feel silly for not thinking to check that in the first place, but didn’t quite succeed on that front) and tested both grinders (I hadn’t gotten around to sending the first one back yet). Both worked just fine.So I went to Amazon to cancel my return. I told them what happened, that the product was not to blame. I said I realized I now had 2 grinders and that was fine. I just wanted to cancel my return and set the record straight, since I had said the reason for the return was product failure. Wirsh told me to just keep the second grinder anyway. It’s a good product. It works better than the Cuisinart one, which is the one I had that went bad. The issue with the Cuisinart is the container kept getting jammed and would not release from the base. There was no obvious reason for this. When it got jammed so hard it would not come off no matter what I did, I said, “that’s it,” and tossed it in the trash. (I notice others have left similar complaints on the Cuisinart grinder.)I have had no such issue with the Wirsh.Another way the Wirsh grinder is better than the Cuisinart is that the Cuisinart would leave product in the base, because there is some room in the bottom of the container for ground matter to fall through. This does not seem to be the cause for the jamming issue, but was certainly cause for extra work in cleaning the base out, and loss of some product. Who wants to deal with that? The Wirsh is designed such that nothing escapes out the bottom. Also, the Cuisinart lacks the inner plastic cover with the seal that the Wirsh has.My experience so far with this product is good. it works well and it grinds just as fine as the Cuisinart. I am happy with it.

Does the job
It does the job, not great but not terrible. It only has one grind setting so nothing fancy. It does overheat, so don’t go crazy with it. I can only usually grind a little at a time before it stops working but for a daily cup it works.
Life is good –
Great grinder
I have this grinder for more than 6 months in use. Still good looking and doing a great job. It is a grinding noise but not to bad

Stopped working after 3 months of regular use. Depressing the lid no longer activates the motor. Not worth the cost.

Very cute and slick, easy to clean, large capacity… doesn’t work however, revealed burning smell and got extremely hot very first time i used it.
