This grinder is just not a quality product. The power cord doesn’t seat into the device, I have to jiggle it until it makes the connection, then hold it in place throughout the grinding. By the time it’s done, I can smell the ozone. The grinder itself doesn’t grind uniform. I will let it grind for as long as I dare, but I ALWAYS have large pieces of beans mixed in with the finer grind. The unit is messy: when I take off the cap after grinding, coffee grounds spill out onto the countertop, and even work their way into the seams of the grinder casing. Which makes me concerned about how it will interfere with the internal motor. I am going to have to discard the unit, I just don’t feel like it is a safe product.

I bought this product and was happy with how it worked, but the thing that made me give it a 3 star is because the removable power plug does not stay locked in. So when using it I would have to hold it in to get power. I asked for a replacement but also this second one is just the same… what a bummer. But I had a choice to keep it for as it’s not pricey and the grinding is great. I’ll deal with holding the plug in, if it ends not working. I will not buy this product again to deal with the same issue.

I’ve tried 3 different buzz grinders, this one is by far the best. Just great in every way except one – the rubber ring that goes around the clear cap falls off too easily and too often. I emailed customer support and was told a replacement rubber ring is not available, but if I’d give my address, they would send a new grinder. But they did not do so. After a while, I decided to apply one drop of super glue to the rubber ring, and now it does not fall off any more. OTHER THAN THE RUBBER RING FALLING OFF, this is a superb, excellent grinder – it grinds so fast and so thoroughly you have to make sure not to over-grind your beans. But since you can easily see the grounds through the clear cap, it’s easy to use. Love it.
