Love the size of these coffee filters. Using them in the bottom of plant pots to help hold in the dirt so it does not leak out of the drainage holes. So far so good. The filter is permeable and holds in the dirt. Love it!

I am giving this item a 4 star because it is a good quality coffee filter, however, it is HUGE! I read other reviews says that these are large and I thought “Perfect! I have a commercial coffee pot and we need large filters”. No, they are about 3-4 inches taller than the basket. They look like they would be good if you are making about 5 gallons of coffee but way to big for what we need.

I make cold filtered coffee using the entire bag of coffee. At a time. Needed a big filter to contain the grounds as they soak in water. I then have a concentrated extract and use an ounce to make a cup of hot coffee. Hmmmmmm. Didn’t need 500 filters but only way to get the size.
