Not 16 oz
The mug was described as an oatmeal mug and 16 oz but there is no way what was delivered is 16 oz. It’s smaller than most mugs and definitely not big enough for a breakfast. The spoon and lid are unique but useless except to stir hot drinks.

Perfect for work breakfasts
I chose this item specifically to take my oatmeal to the office. I cook half a cup of oats with one cup of water (in a pot on the stove, not in this cup), add in some walnuts and top with blueberries, and it fits perfectly in this cup. There is even enough room left at the top for more fruit or toppings. I appreciate that it’s microwavable because by the time I get to my office, I usually have to heat it up for 30 seconds and it’s super easy to pop it in. Just make sure you don’t stick the lid or the spoon in the microwave.The bamboo lid fits a little loose and I do wish it had more of a seal on it. The spoon is also ridiculous tiny – it’s the size of a childs spoon. The metal also has a weird mouth feel, like the really cheap spoons you get at the 99 cent stores. I like that it nestles neatly into the cup and lid, but hate how small it is and the weird metal. For these reasons, I had to take a star off.Overall, this is a great cup for oatmeal, hot beverages and the like. Just be careful with the lid and i’d recommend using another spoon.

Dishwasher safe!
Easy to clean. Love the design. It’s also dishwasher safe which is a huge bonus for me (it’s just the spoon and the lid that are not). Use it for oatmeal almost daily, it’s perfect.

Microwaveable and has a top if needed. Perfect for tea or oatmeal in my opinion. Multiple uses and looks super cute without being too small.

A nice cup with lid to store overnight in the fridge
The photo and description of this product are accurate. The 16-ounce capacity is a bit of an exaggeration. Yes, it will hold 16 ounces filled to the brim. Less if you want to be able to move the cup after it’s filled and put the lid on. The spoon is small, 1/2 teaspoon, and is good for stirring. I prefer to drink and eat from glass containers. This cup is ideal for coffee and tea. If I use it to hold fruit or Jello, the lid is great so that it can go in the fridge. The lid is unfinished bamboo, so I would not soak it for a long period. To the manufacturer’s credit, there are two stickers on the cup that peel off easily because they are plastic window clings rather than paper labels and peel off clean.
