The tool does the job easily and effectively. The numerous needles breaks down and spreads the coffee grounds in the portafilter to ensure you get distribution and no clumps. A good tool for any espresso enthusiast to have in their arsenal to help make that shot or drink on point.There are a lot of similar products out there but I have no regrets getting this one. The little magnet on the top of the WDT tool that can be used to attach on the side of my espresso machine is icing on the cake. A simple feature but genius and very convenient and helps this one stand out among the various other sellers. I like the wooden body of the WDT tool and it really adds to the aesthetics of my whole coffee/espresso area of the kitchen.Iâm also happy with the replacement set of needles that come with the product should anything happen to the needles that are already installed.

It does its primary function which is the break up clumps, and it is nice looking enough to keep on the counter. The only drawback is that the little magnet that is supposed to allow you to store it on the side of your machine is very weak. It will not stay on, so I have to stand it up on the counter or store it in a drawer. But again, it works fine.

Great craftsmanship. I underestimated how much better the thinner needles on this tool would work in comparison the other tools I’ve used that had thicker needles. The difference was noticeable and resulted in an improved extraction and shot. I found the color and finish of the walnut wood to be accurate to what the listing pictures show. The magnet works well and fastens securely when I tested it, although I personally have no use for that function and won’t be using it. The only thing I would change is that the needles are sharply pointed on the end. This is easily remedied via whisking the tool back and forth for a few minutes against a sharpening stone or very fine grit sandpaper. Overall a great tool at a great price. Very happy with the purchase.
