Since discovering this brand Iâve come to savor every cup! The Peppermint Mocha is subtle enough to know youâre drinking coffee & does not âringâ in your mouth on the finish b/c there are no fake sweeteners in it.

The coffee tastes great. Has a nice peppermint mocha taste with a kick to it. Ordered Monday and it showed up on the doorstep Tuesday afternoon. Only knock I can give it is the packaging was a bit weird. It didn’t come in the box that’s shown. Instead it came as a bag full of liquid and wrapped in bubble wrap inside a large Amazon box. The main wandering bear box shown in the picture would have been useful for storing upright in the fridge along with providing quick access to the spout. It kinda makes me nervous ordering again because if there’s multiple items in the order and they’re shipped in the same Amazon box I could see them piercing the bag. Other than that, the cold brew peppermint mocha is fantastic.

The problem for me is it’s too good.
I’m not going to lie, I originally bought this because I was looking for bulk cold brew to mix into my pre workout protein shake. The caffeine content and volume is just right for me to make a month’s worth of pre workouts. When I received it I thought the spout/nozzle and box was pretty clever. I respect good packaging. Before I got to mixing I poured a little bit in a shot glass for sampling and that’s when I ran into my problem: It’s too good! I wasn’t expecting it because packaged cold brew usually sucks. Not this one, it has a refined acidity, no bitterness, nutty hints and excellent finish. I normally have to go to specialty coffee snob places with scientific looking one-drop-at-a-time glass percolators to get cold brew this good. I decided that mixing it with anything would be a crime like coca cola in 18 year scotch.

I love this brand, this flavor and this packaging! I do like making my own cold brew, but I *hate* having to clean out the grounds and the waiting. I’ve tried a lot of cheats, like condensed coffee and even “fast” cold brew machines, but condensed is usually lacking something and “fast” brew methods usually left sediment. This is an amazing ready to go Cold Brew that I genuinely enjoy getting out of bed for, or even a nice small serving for an afternoon pick me up! Absolutely love it. And the only reason I don’t order directly from the site, I did, is because I already Amazon Subscribe and Save for all my regular necessities and this absolutely because a staple in my home, so managing the sub here is so easy and simple and every bit of my quality of life lol

Was certainly misled by positive reviews
I started drinking cold brew about 3 years ago and preferred it over hot coffee because of the fact that you did not need much cream or sugar to enjoy the coffee. Cold brew coffee was very smooth and just delightful to drink. Out of all the cold Brews available at my local grocery stores, I was finally able to single one out. It was an unsweetened black coffee that came in a green and brown bottle with a funny name and had nothing to do with Starbucks. Anyway, I came across wandering bear because the ads somehow started infiltrating every website I visited so I thought I’d look into it. Needless to say, I was quite impress by how many great reviews the product received. Tasted great, smooth, didnt need much creamer, strong bold taste, and came in a cute box. I added to my cart at Amazon and was quite surprised at the cost. About $40 for 96 Oz. Now that must be some killer coffee considering I could buy 384 Oz. Of my favorite cold brew for about $42. So I said well I have to try it. I ordered one box and received it in like 12 hours. That was super impressive but the shipping speed was the only impressive thing about this coffee. I’m gonna be honest, this was the worst coffee I have ever tasted, certainly not able to drink it straight and really required a lot of creamer to even be tolerated. It was like hot coffee that sat all day then put in the fridge. Now had it not been so expensive, I probably wouldn’t have left a review, but when I can get triple the amount of great tasting cold brew for the same price, I had no choice. Sorry but no thank you.
