I love this coffee but you may get ground when ordering whole bean!
I love this coffee. It is smooth and delicious when prepared cold brew style. I have ordered quite a few bags of Wake the Hell Up coffee and have not had an issue until today. I ordered two bags of whole bean and they arrived labeled whole bean but contained ground coffee. Since coffee is ineligible for return, Amazon kindly refunded my money and let me keep the coffee. For cold brew, the grind needs to be coarse, pre-ground coffee is always too fine for immersion cold brew.Like I said, I love this coffee, but beware that some bags labeled “whole bean” are in fact ground.

My Go to Coffee
This coffee originates from upstate NY. Its owner was a classmate of my brother and that is how I discovered it. I have given this to many friends here in California and they have become instant fans. Would strongly recommend it. It is reasonably priced and well worth it.

I like my coffee black
Exact amount of caffeine I need to start my morning. I have been looking for whole coffee beans that I can drink black. The black coffee taste is amazing which I highly recommend next to death wish coffee. Starbucks or Peets can sit down on the bench in the terms of taste when it requires sugar, milk or creamer. Definitely going to order more. Thank you Utica Roasting Company!!

Did it wake me up? Yes.. Did it wake me the hell up, no.. The coffee is pretty good. It does have caffeine but not enough to have me bouncing off the walls. I would get it again because I do like the taste

Not very strong in flavor
I bought the whole bean version. Usually I drink Wild Jo whole bean, dark roast but thought I would give Wake the hell up because of the price. Iâm disappointed because it doesnât have a lot of flavor and it takes twice as much as Wild Jo to get the flavor Iâm accustomed to. It also makes me jittery, which is not the case with the other coffee. On the plus side, itâs a good value for the price, and itâs fresh. The beans are very oily (a good thing), and itâs not bitter. If you like a weaker tasting coffee this may be the one for you. Itâs probably a matter of personal preference.
