Easy to Adjust Grind – Nice Product
I purchased the Vzaahu grinder primarily because of the relatively easy adjustment of the grind size. (I still have my older manual grinder that has been in service for at least ten years, but it is very cumbersome to adjust.)On initial impression of the Vzaahu about a week ago, it exceeded my expectations. It looks very stylish, was nicely packaged and it seems to work very well. It is quieter than my older one and maybe a little faster in completing the grind. It can grind enough to brew for two people in one batch. At this point, I do not see any significant deficiencies. Of course, manual grinding is different from the electric, but I have at least 10 years of getting to know some of the manual plusses (relative quiet) and minuses (it takes a few minutes.)So far, I have adjusted the Vzaahu between the grind for Chemex and French Press. It seemed to produce the expected results. The coffee from each method was very tasty. My wife was complimentary.I cannot tell about the durability of this grinder yet, but it looks well made and I hope it will last. This is the type of product that one might use every single day. After the first week, I am enjoying this Vzaahu model.

Easy to use, mostly accurate grind
This is a replacement for an old Bialetti hand grinder that because of the plastic grounds receptacle, had broken at one of the latch tabs. (As an aside, the Bialetti is apparently no longer available â no great loss.) The Vzaahu (where in the world did they get this name!?) is much easier to grind than the Bialetti, and the glass receptacle makes it much sturdier. Unfortunately, it doesnât quite allow for a fine (espresso) grind, and for sure youâre not going to get a Turkish grind. At the other end of the spectrum it does fine for French Press grind, and since 98% of the time I use it for a drip coffee maker itâs not a big deal. Also, if you use oily beans itâs necessary to shake the grinder periodically to get the beans to fall into the grinding area. Dry beans donât seem to have this problem. Again, not a big deal.

Works great!
Grinds coffe beans with ease! Bought this to replace an older one I bought 15+ yrs, ago. Coursest setting is perfect for my perc.pot Which I use for camping and occasionally on the stovetop at home. Nice to have fresh ground beans out camping or when the power goes out.

Great Grinder – needs modification for fine grinding
This newer model is built with real bearings and a tighter fitting lid also with a bearing and so it operates very smoothly. However, it does not grind fine enough for my coffee brewing and the uniformity of the grind was starting to deteriorate after a few weeks. What fixed both problems was replacing the washer on the top of the grinding burr with a 1/4″ SAE stainless steel flat washer (Amazon sells in bags of 100). This lets the grinding part move closer to the mating outer ring and also retained the lowest bearing which had worked loose. All is well now and enjoying the results. Would definitely recommend with the modification.Followup Review: The 1/4″ flat washer did not work after a few months of daily use – the problem is that the lower bearing slipped out of its housing again. I still like the grinder – inexpensive and grinds enough beans for a whole pot of coffee. However, it still needs modification to keep the lower bearing in place so that it grinds well.

It’s Okay. Wish I paid attention….
This is OK. Seems to work fine but there’s a few features I now know I should of looked for.First, it’s difficult to hold onto while using. I guess I have small hands because I can’t get a decent grip or hold it any way comfortably. I really struggle every morning.Second, cleaning it isn’t easy. I wish it came with a brush or something. It’s no big deal to purchase a brush and a little air puffer for it but it’s just another purchase I have to make.Third, more grind settings. I cant seem to get my pour-over grind dialed in. 3 is too fine and 4 seems too course.(For you pour over fans, 4 is probably the best.) Also, my grind isn’t as consistent as others claim.I do like the jars and lid it comes with and it’s an attractive style. It’s quiet and sturdy.

Easy to use sturdy manual grinder and storage jar. You can set the grinder fir the different preferences and the crank is smooth. I really like the idea of the output jar having a lid so the coffee is kept for later use, you can easily get 4 cups of coffee out of each full grind.

I purchased this coffee bean grinder to replace my electric one since it was noisy and not suitable for camping. It comes with multiple jars that allow for convenient coffee bean storage, making it easy to pack them in a bag when I go camping. The stainless steel burrs are top-notch and of high quality. With this grinder, I can effortlessly grind 20g of coffee beans into a fine powder within a minute. Whether you’re using it at home or for camping purposes, this grinder set is exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend this product!
