This is an excellent grinder for moka-type coffee. I found it too difficult to grind from beans to an espresso fineness on one go but doing it in two stages works great. Itâs excellent for camping or power outages.

Easy to use but your arm is going to get a good workout. Grind adjustment is easy and can do fine up to chunky.Over appearance is very nice. Looks great in kitchen

My husband loves it!
Not long ago, my hubby got into coffee brewing at home but was using an electric grinder included with his machine. I heard him saying it was not that good, so I looked to get him a grinder he might like.Now, imagine my surprise when I found a nice coffee grinder that is also blue! His favorite color!It arrived very fast and in a pretty nice box with a few accessories, I was not expecting that so +1My husband has been using it ever since, it’s so so so easy too! Move the silver part to adjust, really straight to the point.The handle is pretty long so both him, or I have no issues in moving it, I have even tried to get it to fall off and was not able to, it’s honestly well secured on the top.Now, compared with the blade grinder from before and this one is just a whole other lever of consistency, choose one level and the coffee will look the same every single time, really, fantastic in that sense. My hubby prepares both espresso and pour over and not a single problem with either.Would I recommend it? Wholeheartedly yes. It’s efficient in doing its job and has a really fine price/quality ratio.So this time it’s 5 stars for us.

Probably can’t do an espresso grind
Got this on Vine to help me make moka pot espresso lattes for work afternoons.I used the 3 grind setting first and got some pretty big grind pieces of espresso coffee–definitely what looks like French press sized pieces. I later tried 1 (each number has about 2 click settings, so I was likely on 1.5). 3 setting made a really sour moka pot coffee, meaning the grind was too large. 1.5 was still pretty big for what should have been espresso-like powder.I’m still working out the kinks for my perfect moka pot latte, though I don’t think this hand grinder will be a part of it because it doesn’t give a consistent fine grind for moka pot steaming. It’s a shame because I really do like the design, especially the larger size for hand grinding.

It’s Okay. Wish I paid attention….
This is OK. Seems to work fine but there’s a few features I now know I should of looked for.First, it’s difficult to hold onto while using. I guess I have small hands because I can’t get a decent grip or hold it any way comfortably. I really struggle every morning.Second, cleaning it isn’t easy. I wish it came with a brush or something. It’s no big deal to purchase a brush and a little air puffer for it but it’s just another purchase I have to make.Third, more grind settings. I cant seem to get my pour-over grind dialed in. 3 is too fine and 4 seems too course.(For you pour over fans, 4 is probably the best.) Also, my grind isn’t as consistent as others claim.I do like the jars and lid it comes with and it’s an attractive style. It’s quiet and sturdy.
