The base also fits in my car cupholder, which is great, because I bought some in the past that do not fit and gets kind of annoying. The top of the cup is wide, and once you take the lid off, you have a wide top to put things in and very easy to clean. The lid screws on easily and nicely and there is a lid that snaps down to make this cup leak proof.
