not what I was expecting as far as taste, aroma and freshness!
for some reason , i did not like the taste , and the beans did not seem fresh( more like dead beans) as was stated, I made my first brew( with these coffer beans) for the family like i do every morning before i leave the house and got home to an almost full pot of coffee, in other words it wasn’t just me that did not like the taste, sticking to my usual Hawaii beans , but will continue to sample others out there,also ordered another highly rated coffee bean (5 stars) on Amazon , so i am hopefull that it will be at least better tha brand (A) that arrived first , well maybe I just got a bad batch?

Great coffee, but bag design can be better
I live in the SF Bay Area, so I’ve had Verve coffee from several local cafes. It has always been hit or miss. But since I upped my pour over game at home, I thought I would give Verve a try.This is the best Verve coffee I’ve had. It has some good flavors, and has a good balance between the roast level and the acidity.My only real complaint is that the bag opening is tiny. It uses a zip lock mechanism, but on the side of the bag instead of the top. As a result, fitting a measuring scoop in and out of the opening is a huge hassle. I would be inclined to order this more often if this was fixed.

My gift to myself!
I mix one container of Vancouver (decaf) and one of Buena Vista. My preference is a cappuccino. I have a Rancilio espresso maker which makes excellent espresso, as long as I use excellent coffee beans. Seriously, my morning coffee is a ritual for me. I hold that warm coffee mug and slowly sip my coffee. That flavor lingers for a while and I am gifted with the best coffee I can make. I live near a Highwire coffee truck, but I prefer my Verve, in my kitchen, to even, Highwire. If you are lucky enough to live near a Verve brick and mortar, buy a package of their granola. Hands down, it is the BEST I have ever had, and I have tasted quite a few. A gift from Verve would be a cafe/store in the East Bay ( east of SF) so I could buy the granola As of now I either have to go to SF or Santa Cruz. Of course, I am grateful that I have those options. FYI: Delivery, from Verve, is very prompt, and you can manage a subscription. That way you never run out of coffee. Unfortunately you canât order the granola because they donât ship it. I guess Iâll take a trip to Santa Cruz. Life is good, and thank you Verve!
