I love to make tea, and my last loose leaf steeper leaked the leaves into my drink.This one had a finer mesh thickness, and does an amazing job. No leakage, great value, machine and hand-washable, and you can fit a lot of tea in it. I also like the lid, keeps the aroma and the hot steam in the cup until itâs done!

Works as described
I cut open my tea bags and pour the content in this tea strainer everyday at work. Makes me feel good knowing itâs made of stainless steel, strains fine tea perfectly and I can still use up my remaining tea bags without using the bags that may have been sprayed with something to keep it intact or have microplastics! Also should note that it fits into any size cup whether it be a 10-12 oz tea cup or larger.

Better for large tea leaves
For black tea, you may need finer strainer holes. I don’t like eating tiny gritty bits of tea “leaves,” so I can only use this quality-material Vaincre strainer with relatively large pinholes (but otherwise well-constructed) for my high-quality large-leaf Fortnam Mason mint tea leaves. It almost works well for my Vadham green tea.But I usually prefer black tea, and this strainer doesn’t work well for straining various brands and types of black teas, including Harney & Sons, and especially the many types of tea bags (most notably Chai, which has spices) which I cut open (to avoid microplastics). The sometimes-many escaped macro-particles ruin the enjoyment of drinking yummy smooth hot tea for me!I prefer stainless cup-style tea strainers that have two handles instead of just one (less chance of problematic tilting, which can allow tea bits to float into your cup). My adult young-adult daughter prefers ball-style tea strainers with a handle.Years ago, I bought iPow cup-style strainer; also bought one as a gift for my daughter. Then I tried this Vaincre to replace my aged iPow. Then I replaced what my daughter commented as “too big” iPow with an OXO ball strainer with handle for my daughter. Then I bought another iPow, which I use most frequently now. I’m poised to buy iPow the next time i need a new strainer.

Perfect loose leaf tea steeper
This is just what I needed to steep loose-leaf tea. I love that it’s made of stainless steel and NOT PLASTIC. It’s super easy to use, easy to clean, and after a few weeks of use I’ve noticed no rust or wear. The silicone around the lid is removable, so I like to remove it after washing and let it dry separately to ensure no water gets stuck to allowing for rusting.

Great strainer
The old tea ball infuser I had resulted in lots of tea leaves released into the cup. This new product solved the problem. The old type also limits the amount of tea leaves you can use, not an issue with this one. Tea stays hot, love it.

Great Tea Infuser!
I’ve tried many different tea infusers and so far this one seems to be the best. It is on the larger side, but it still fits in all of my cups that I have. I appreciate that there is a lid that covers the infuser and then acts as a saucer for the infuser. The lid is also easy to get off and on. The infuser is also super easy to clean.

I’ve always wanted to be able to make single large mugs of tea with loose leaves, but I’ve never been able to find a tea strainer before that I’ve been happy with. The upside-down dome-shaped ones are too shallow, and require the mug to be filled all the way to the top if I want to use a decent amount of tea. Tea socks make me worry about hygiene, as they are not the easiest to clean, and also not very aesthetically pleasing. And tea eggs just don’t have enough capacity to let the tea leaves fully expand. This baby is however perfect in every single way. It looks nice and is well-made, and the ability to add any amount of tea is incredible. The holes are tiny, so even the smallest pieces of leaves won’t be abe to escape But at the same time there are so many of themthat plenty of water is able to pass through very quickly. It is also very easy to clean – just empty, rinse – voilÃ , a perfectly clean strainer that is ready for the next cup!I strongly assume that most people who buy this item will never need another tea strainer. The cup-inside-a-cup design is truly peak teastrainism.
