This is not a vacuum sealer.
To be called a vacuum sealer, a device must:1. Extract air from the bag.2. Heat seal the bag3. Optionally, store a roll of bags, and possible include a cutter.This thing performs 1 adequately enough, and does in fact perform the optional functions of 3 also.However, it does not succeed at 2, heat sealing the bags. At best, it manages something that looks like a double row heat seal, but rapidly leaks. At worst, it makes burning smells, blisters the plastic, and melts holes in the bag. Only luck determines which you get on any given attempt.Since this device cannot perform one of the necessary functions to be a vacuum sealer, it isn’t one. Do not buy this if you want a functional vacuum sealer. If instead, you would like some postmodern art interpretation of a vacuum sealer, this may be your jam.

Out of the box, the unit is large and solid â with the stainless-steel exterior it not only looks and feels great, but is easy to wipe cleanIncluded is the sealer, instructions, power cable (outlet to 2 prong input, similar to a printer power cable), 2 rolls of cut-to-size bags, tube sealer with ends (jars, wine, etc), 5 pre-cut bags, and a rubber sealFor operation, the buttons are clear across the front with led indicators above identifying selection. Unlike other big box sealers, thereâs not a lot of guess work required â cut your bag as you typically would and fill will your items; then simply feed it into the front and press the button and thatâs it â it sucks out the air, detects the appropriate time to stop, and heat seals closed. No latches, no lids, and no touching it with hands covered in whatever substance youâre working with! The heated seal is also larger than my old, cheap one so no risk of broken seals in the freezer. Only issue with the simplicity here is understanding how far to insert â better to go about an inch or two in to be safe, but with time and more frequent use, its easy to gauge the depth for a proper sealAs you can see in the video, it also has great power for what it is as it was able to crush a can down as described. Total time from insert to seal is about 30 seconds per itemFor high-moisture items, there is a drip tray to catch any liquids â its also removable so easy to clean! I did put the drip tray in the dishwasher, top-rack, and saw no issues with flexing or deformationOverall, theres no other way to say it â this machine is a powerhouse. Its extremely easy to operate, is easy to clean, and doesnât require anything more than pressing a button. For a countertop appliance, Im extremely happy and cannot recommend it enough! Awesome!

We use our vacuum sealer all the time to vacuum seal packages of food before putting them in the freezer. This allows larger packages to be divided into single serving packages and allows the products to stored in a freezer much longer than if they were not vacuum sealed. The kit contains everything necessary to begin including rolls for making custom size bags as well as pre-cut bags. It is not just for freezing. Vacuum sealing is useful for sous vide cooking. I even vacuum sealed some important documents to ensure that they are collectively and completely sealed for retention for when they might be required.

This is the second vacuum sealer I’ve tested and it is my favourite by far because of its power. It comes with a touchpad control where you can adjust the settings to accommodate for dry and moist food (like coffee beans and ground meat), two rolls of sealing film, five 11 x 16 pouches, various cords and accessories like a vacuum-sealer hose for jars (I tried it after dividing a bulk sack of chia into masons and got perfectly sealed mason jars), and instruction guides.I am impressed with this machine and enjoying freeing up pantry, cupboard and freezer space with compact, vacuum-sealed pouches that allow you to identify what you’re looking for,easily. I am planning more pantry projects with this awesome machine, as well as trying my hand at an emergency supplies kit to put in the car, where it will withstand dirt, heat, cold and bouncing around in its thick pouches.Plan your projects around shopping the sales and you’ll build your food storage faster than you expect. Compact quality vacuum sealer that’s easy to use
This vacuum sealer from Mesliese was a gift for Christmas this year. Even though I havenât had it that long Iâm already impressed with what it can do. Itâs very compact, built really well, and it works great. The best part is that this vacuum sealer is simple to use and it doesn’t take long to read the directions and start having fun sealing up your own food items. I especially like how the sealing bag roll is conveniently stored within the machine and that it can be cut to size with the internal cutting mechanism. So far I’ve sealed a variety of food items and the machine works flawlessly. It’s great to be able quickly grab pretty much any food product and vacuum seal it to extend it’s freshness. No more wasted food or quickly spoiled leftovers now that I have this terrific vacuum sealer from Mesliese. Itâs worth mentioning that this company has great customer service and is a pleasure to deal with!

Very easy to use, nicely designed , takes up very little space on counters
This is our Mesliese vacuum sealer and we love its speed, double seals, bag cutter, strong vacuum! It replaces one we bought many years ago.Bought the the 1620 and it has worked perfectly right out of the box. We like that it holds the bag roll and easily can change the roll to a different size or new roll. The bag cutter works well and is very convenient. I used to, like many folks, seal the bags twice to make sure they held. This machine has a double sealing strip and works very well.It seems like it will last a longtime but also comes with a 5 year warranty! Not many have that.I would buy this again but don’t imagine I would have too since it seems quite sturdy.

Amazing Machine for Home and Business
I absolutely love this vacuum sealer! I use it both at home and for my small business, and itâs been a total game-changer. I also love the flexibility of being able to use either rolls or bags, depending on my needs.
