They improved the bags and I LOVE THIS VACUUM SEALER!!!
I have updated my review. My previous one (below) was not horrible(3-star); the bags were just too difficult to work with. Well, they have changed the bags and they are a 1000% improvement!!! I love the new bags. You can reuse them, wash them, freeze them; but they work easily and the performance is outstanding! I highly recommend this item now! Small size, don’t have to have it take up counter space; just put it in a drawer and forget about it until the next use. Bags are VERY heavy and stout and work great. Remember, the review below was before the change.Overall it’s fine and certainly convenient with its small size and shape. But it takes a good bit of time to actually empty a bag of the air inside and it’s VERY difficult for the vacuum to find the “sweet spot” on the bag for removing the air. I usually have to make multiple attempts at getting it to work properly. Overall good value for the price and certainly a 5 star for storage in a drawer and not on the kitchen counter.

So handy
Once I figured out how to seal the bags with the handy clip, it made it easier to seal. This little handheld sealer is easy to use and keeps things fresher and longer lasting in the refrigerator and great for the freezer. Keeps things from icing up in the freezer. I would recommend this sealer over those big clumpy ones that you use their bags one time and throw away. I have reused my bags many times after washing and they work great. No doubt they will wear out eventually, but so far, I have not been disappointed.

Amazing vacuum sealer.
Every house needs one of these gadgets!!! Seriously. The vacuum sealer is compact and fits in your hand. It is rechargeable so you can take it with on camping trips and save food that way. It doesnât take up much space in a drawer.I have a big vacuum sealer too but this small unit is much easier to use and does a great job at vacuuming. You can also buy more bags as needed. The bags are thick and durable and come in 2 sizes which is great too.It is definitely value for the money spent and makes a great gift.

I just got the portable canister today and successfully vacuumed packed vegetables. They say itâs reusable . Too soon to comment. People be aware that if the content says,âpiecesâ, the company is saying, 1 seal clip and 5 air valves plus canister then the remaining would be bags.

UPDATED REVIEW: After having trouble with the vacuum seal on the bags, seller was very prompt to reply to my concerns and sent me a replacement set of bags with different vacuum seal and a new unit. These bags worked flawlessly and the unit now works as it should. Grateful for prompt reply and so glad the new bags (per the seller) will be part of their product purchase. The unit is perfect size for travel and you can order replacement bags that work. I wonât buy any bags that have the old vacuum seal. I updated the purchase to 4 stars. Will update to 5 when I see how long the charge and recharge last, but for now I am very satisfied with it and have sealed fish, lettuce, celery and some dry goods. I DO recommend it.When I read all the five star reviews, I couldnât understand how this was possible. I struggled terribly with getting things to seal. I made sure the top seal was tight and the unit just didnât catch on the bag valve. When it did, it worked. But it was NOT anything like what I watched in videos. I tried sealing fish, carrots, celery, bread and lettuce and struggled to get the valve to catch. I contacted the seller and they gave me suggestions and then replaced the unit and gave me different bags with a new type of value and then it was easier to seal. Iâm still on the fence about this unit. I have a big vacuum sealer, but wanted a hand held unit as itâs more convenient. It just seems like I have to expel more air manually before sealing the bag and putting the unit on the valve.

Works like it’s supposed to
This product arrived on time and thr packaging was intact. I charged bit before I used it, and it worked like it was supposed to. The zip lock bags provided in the box (you get 10, 5 small 5 large) were sturdy with double zipping locks. The handheld vacuum sealer can really be used one handed. Hold the sealer tight until it catches the vacuum and it will seal in about 7 seconds. This product is much more convenient than my clunky food saver brand. It is lightweight and compact enough to be placed in a drawer. Now I need to buy more bags, I’ll be using this more often. *side note* when vacuum sealing ground meat, make sure there is no meat at the air port, it will get caught in the port of the bag. That was user error. I recommend this product.

Pros: it works well & it’s compact.Cons: It comes from China. Took weeks to get here. Now if I need replacement bags it will take weeks to get them.Had I know this I would have ordered something that was made in North America.
