I wanted some tall glasses for iced tea that wouldnât break easily. I also canât stand to drink things out of plastic cups. The taste of the plastic bothers me. I saw these and thought they might work out. I am so glad that I did buy them. They are very good quality and very durable. They look like glass and donât have that plastic taste when you drink out of them.

These glasses are lighweight, but durable and stylish. My grandson was helping me set the table, picked one up and said, “Wow, I thought it was made of glass.” I’ve been using them for a couple of months and they still look perfect. They are classy enough to be put on a elegantly set table or casual enough to take outside to enjoy a cool drink. They provide the beauty of glass without the worry of breaking glass. They are made in the USA, so that is another bonus for me! I wish the base were a bit heavier, but that is only a slight issue and would not deter me from buying them again in the future. Enjoy!

Sturdy and long lasting
Look, they’re acrylic glasses. They aren’t going to change your life or anything like that. That said, I absolutely love these glasses. They don’t break when I drop them on my tiled kitchen floor (the thing is a magnet for glass!), which was my main goal in buying them for casual use.Thing is, over the course of several months of ownership, use, and washing, they haven’t scratched or dulled at all. They still look new.I take a great deal of joy in using these glasses just because they’re still crystal clear!

These are not as heavy as glass (of course) but they are extremely sturdy and do have some weight to them. I dropped one on a tile floor and it didn’t even chip!

Don’t buy! Cloudy, cheap, easily marred and scratched!
We wanted good quality, attractive, acrylic drink ware at our beach house for guests to use poolside, on the deck, and on the dinner table. Guests started using the acrylic drink ware in May. By the beginning of August the drink ware looked cloudy, scratched, dirty (that dirty look just won’t go away no matter how many times it’s washed, dried, buffed)… It’s cheap-looking and embarrassing! We spent a fortune on equipping the beach house for 12 people with extra large glasses, large, medium, and juice-size glasses, wine glasses, etc. The glass drinkware we had looked great, but we were trying to address a safety factor with regard to the pool and decks, so we opted for a “crystal-look” acrylic. It’s too late to send everything back, however, we’ve decided we, and our guests, deserve better. This embarrassing, cheap-looking, expensive disaster is going to be cleared out and we’ll restock with nice glass ware as we had for 18 years. Very, very disappointed in this investment.

Dishwasher safe? For how long?
I really wanted to like these glasses. They’re a good size, kid friendly and look pretty classy – in fact they are indistinguishable from regular classes until you pick them up and realize that they are plastic. However, after about 6-9 months of usage their claims of “dishwasher safe” seem incorrect. The glasses are completely tarnishes with white rings around the lip of the glass (as if someone had left a milk stain with their lips) and cracking on the bottom. I wash them on the top shelf of the dishwasher on regular wash and I’ve never encountered issues with other glass or plastic items, so am confident that the issue is with the glass and not the maintenance thereof. It’s a shame – these were almost great but cannot recommend given their deterioration over time.
