We use this at an actual coffee shop
Ae actually use this product at our coffee shop and at home. It cleans super well and is quite strong. So I do advice be careful to not touch the actual powder itself if possible. The value for money is very much worth it. Works quite quick for the job intended. Super easy to use and honestly you can also use it to help get rid of any coffee or coffee stain build ups on METAL products. Iâd wouldnât use it on plastic as I wouldnât feel it safePERSOANLLY

For 10 years I have used this on a unic two pod espresso machine and it has worked very well in keeping it clean and flowing perfectly.

Super Easy cleaning!!!
No scrubbing, just wash and rinse. Works great in my 12 cup drip. I used 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon to clean and the results were amazing. Put a pinch in your stainless steel items, fill with hot water, let sit and PRESTO, coffee stains gone. Best cleaner by far!!!

Crazy good stuff
This stuff works like a miracle. Boiling water with a spoonful of this stuff and our metal cups come out like new. All the stains are gone.

Did a great job of cleaning old espresso machine.
It was remarkable how well it cleaned the coffee deposits off of parts on my 20 year old machine. It does a great job of back flushing as wellNot a descaler. Don’t put it in the water tank.

I use this to clean my stainless steal coffee press and my coffee mugs.Simply add powder and water per directions and all remnants of coffee rinse out.

AMAZING cleaner for coffee equipment and “special glassware” 😉
As far as coffee equipment goes, I have a very basic Starbucks Barista espresso machine. I soaked the espresso brewhead and my grounds spoon in a solution of water and this detergent and everything got incredibly clean (see one of my pics). As far as I understand it you’re not supposed to run this stuff *through* a basic espresso machine like mine, so I use a separate descaler for that Cleancaf Cleaner for Home Coffee and Espresso Equipment, 3 Pack (0.33oz each). I also inadvertently got a photo that illustrates just how powerful this stuff is: I noticed that my to go coffee cup looked a little stained on the bottom, so I filled the cup like 1/3 full with hot water and put a half teaspoon or so of this detergent in. I let it sit for a few minutes and rinsed it out. That’s one of my pics — to my surprise I didn’t even realize that the entire inside of my cup had gotten stained! That’s why you can see brilliant shiny metal at the bottom and now obviously stained nasty metal near the top. I repeated the process but filled the cup all the way to the top and voila, the cup looked brand new and my coffee tasted better after that. That’s the last pic. I will now periodically clean my to go cups and thermoses with this detergent since it’s so powerful.About “special glassware”: I’m not going to upload any pics, but here in Colorado one might ingest a certain newly-legal substance through various glass (or other material) paraphernalia. That paraphernalia can get famously gunky and impossible to clean — UNTIL NOW. Simply soak the paraphernalia in a solution of this product dissolved in hot water and wait 20 minutes or so. ALL of the gunk will just slide out from inside the device — maybe with a tiny bit of jostling. But seriously, no scrubbing or pipe cleaners are necessary any more. One warning: I don’t know if this product takes paint off of glass, so you might want to test it on something first. Of course, a high quality handblown glass device shouldn’t have any paint on it, so you’re probably good to go.Lastly you get a TON of this product for a reasonable price, so I’ll be cleaning plenty of stuff and one container will last a long time I imagine.

i clean my espresso machine regularly and this stuff works amazing to clean any coffee oils off of my parts. a little goes a long way

Pretty remarkable product. Cleaned my six-year-old coffee carafe so it looked like I just bought it. Had a bit of a scare when I Googled the active ingredient, sodium hydroxide, and learned it was the chemical name for lye. They need to be clearer about that in the packaging, especially since this is used on products people drink out of. I rinsed my coffeemaker thoroughly and ran it twice with water only to clear it out. If I die of lye poisoning, my wife will make a little money from the lawsuit. In the meantime, my morning coffee tastes much better..
