Works great
Came with 2 grinders and USB charger and did not come with spices but I am not complaining. Both grinders are in stainless steel finish but mainly made of plastic with a clear container for the salt or pepper. It is of larger capacity than competitors but is not its best quality. Opening is on the top so you need to open that part to use this and there is where the grinder is located along with the adjustment for coarseness. This has internal batteries and can be recharged with included USB charger. Button is placed in the middle and needs to be pressed once to turn on and another press to turn off. This is a well made product but not without some hiccups. I am not a fan that it needs multiple steps to start using it. You need to open the cover, invert and press the button and in reverse order when you are done. It is not too bad but my other one only needs to be pressed and hold to use and turns off once you let go. The button placement is also weird for me as my old one is in the top. It is a bit hard to explain until you actually hold this one. The button might be helpful for professionals who make food in massive amount that holding the button is more work than pressing it once. It is a petty complaint so I cannot take a star off as it is functioning properly and is very useful.

Works well
I have used a manual pepper grinder for years & have enjoyed the ability to customize the size of particles, plus, freshly ground pepper just tastes better. I like lots of pepper, though, and my carpal tunnel was starting to be a problem since the pepper grinder would press right against the nerves that would make my hands go numb. Enter these grinders. When they arrived, we charged them up & loaded one with peppercorns & the other with very coarse pink Himalayan salt. I pressed the button & could hear grinding sounds, but nothing was coming out. Then I realized that there is actually a little flap that covers the bottom that has to be opened in order to release the particles. I went back & checked the pictures in the listing b/c I hadn’t noticed a flap in them. It turns out that it’s there, but it’s not clearly pictured in any of them. When the listing said it was a one-handed operation, I believed it. I guess it is technically a one-handed operation to grind it, but if you want to get it out, you’ll generally be using a 2nd hand. The little flap is nice, though, because it allows you to collect the ground salt/pepper so you can measure it for a recipe or to just have better control over how much is being added. You just can’t pick it up & go straight to grinding it in a dish without opening the bottom first. I also noticed that when I added salt or pepper to the holding tank, if there was any in the grinder, it would ususally fall out all over the counter. Not a huge deal, but it’s worth noting that it’s got a little bit of a learning curve with it. Overall, I’m pretty pleased, but I did remove 1 star for the items I mentioned since it wasn’t as straightforward of an operation as I was expecting based on the listing.

Iâve wanted these for a long, long time.
My primary need for ground pepper is that I make soup; itâs a sort of hobby. Batches come out somewhere between a gallon and two gallons. This requires pepper. Until now Iâve had only a grinder that was twisted by hand. It would take minutes to get enough. So when I opened these and saw how sleek, and so on, they were, I was overjoyed. They are beautiful anyway, but to my eyes at that time, even ugly would have been beautiful. They work fine, and I happened to have the tag-end of a store-bought roasted chicken, so I boiled the meat off the bones, added lentils and what-not, and used this pepper grinder. Hurray. Victory. Then this morning I made a three-egg omelet using this pepper grinder. Iâm so happy. For the sake of this report, I set out to find how long the battery would last. With the pepper grinder propped upright in a salsa jar with its lid making space, it ran for 12 minutes, and I stopped it, because it was running out of pepper and the battery level was down only one light, from 3 to 2. The white LED illuminator is cool, you can see it in the picture. Just to see how things had gone, I weighed the product (I have a scale, product # B082CKHBWC). The pepper unground was 60.9 g, and the ground portion ended up at 44.5 g, so 74% of a full load ground in 12 minutes. Thatâs terrific.

Beautiful electric salt and pepper grinders, and they work well!
I’ve been using these salt and pepper grinders for about a week now, and I find they not only dress up our dining table, they beat my old tried and true salt and pepper shakers. Both have an internal battery that is rechargeable using the included USB charging cable. You’ll need to supply your own USB charger, as one is not included.Operation is simplicity itself. Make sure the batteries are charged and you’re good to go! The ONLY con is that when you don’t know how to use them, you won’t know that you have to press the button on the side to start the grinder, you ALSO have to press it again to stop it! The first time I used them, I was unaware of this quirk. I held the button down to grind, then lifted my finger to stop it. It did NOT stop! Now that I know, I have no problem getting just the amount of salt or pepper I want. What I like the best is their classically simple design. They are beautiful! They really dress up the dining table, adding a definite touch of class! These are definitely keepers!
