Fantastic Sleek Grinder
Beautifully designed, excellent grind quality, very easy to clean. I was concerned after reading some of the negative reviews, but I realized if you take the time to read the troubleshooting manual, you will likely be able to address any issues that you may have where the machine is not turning back on again. You just need to make sure you screw the hopper back in tightly. The first round I heard the clicks, but I didnât screw it tight enough and I had to go clockwise one more time around and then the machine came back on. I just didnât have it screwed in all the way. to clean it you just need to unscrew the hopper counterclockwise a few times in until it unscrewed all the way and then itâs super easy to clean. Yes itâs a little loud but youâre only running it for a maybe 30 seconds, so I think itâs worth it when you get a great cup of coffee and an amazing grind. Iâve made espresso, French press, and pour over coffee with this grinder and everything worked perfectly. I donât think you can go wrong with this machine, especially for the price.

Works great
This is an easy to use grinder with a sleek touch sensitive panel to select the amount you want ground. The hopper holds just the right amount and youâre manually able to adjust the coarseness. Highly recommend.

Easy, sleek, and decent size for an electric burr grinder
This sleek designed electric burr grinder delivers quality grinds with minimal fuss. I am french press coffee drinker and throw in a pour over brew every now and then, so the ranges between a fine and coarse grind are an overkill but welcomed. The size is convenient enough that I can store it after every use and quickly setup. It is nice because most grinders look like they are supposed to be on display and show off 4 gallons of coffee beans – not what I want.A few things I have noticed over the time using it. It is loud, no way around it, don’t grind next to anyone sleeping. The coffee “dust” builds up a little bit but it is minimal and a quick wipe down is all you need. And I would say they are conservative on their cups settings, try to increase to see if it helps with your overall brew.In summary, this electric burr grinder was the closest what I was looking for, a semi-compact, easy to use, and minimal design that delivers consistent grinds. I’ll use it until I can’t.

Poor designed grounds canister. Unlike other brands that have no stick grounds, this no doesn’t.
I like the styling of this coffee grinder. I like the variety selector for the grind size. I especially like the lighted touch control. Has a ample size coffee bean holder. the minuses are it’s very noisy. And the grounds container doesn’t have a no stick finish, like other manufactures have. Expresso grind is the worst. course grind is tolerable. I would hope that Cuisinart would make a no stick replacement grounds container. But I am not holding my breath.

Love this thing
I purchased a “like new” machine from the warehouse. I was really, really concerned when I saw the box. it looked as if it had been wet. I was concerned if the machine itself had been wet. Been using for a couple weeks now. It works beautifully. It’s much less noisy than my old one. Much less. It grinds beans. There will be noise. But it doesn’t last long. Yes, it is kind of a pain that the number of cups has to be reset each day. But not that much of a pain. Grind is consistent. I have a vintage pour over. The coffee tastes much better and there is no more sludge left. My old grinder only ground beans fine no matter what the setting. I’m happy.

Do not buy…
This was a much anticipated purchase..I should’ve trusted the reviews but as with a lot of things I wanted to see for myself. This machine is loud (which I really don’t mind that much) but the worst part is that the grinder really isn’t true to what it says, ie grind “fine” or “coarse”…it ‘s all been the same no matter what grind setting you have it set to. Also, in the instructions it gives numbers to delineate the grind size from 1-12 but this machine had no numbers on the dial, only dots that gradually went from small to large to define the grind size. I’m upset that I am unable to return the item as the return window of time has closed (by 6 daysâ¦). This is a very disappointing Cuisinart purchase as the other items we have have have served us very well.UPDATE: I contacted Amazon and they offered to process a ‘one-time post return window date’ return opportunity for this item. I’m happy I pursued this further and I commend Amazon!

Loud, louder, and loudest.
This burr grinder from Cuisinart intrigued me, because it seemed too good to be true. A sturdy looking burr grinder that was touchscreen and electric, not one I have to crank for an hour, red-eyed in the morning, before I get my coffee.I was right. This burr grinder is SO SO SO LOUD. Not like a âoh itâs crunching beansâ loud. Itâs like a, âhow is this so loud, itâs 6am, am I waking up my neighborsâ type of loud. The noise is so extremely annoying and frustrating because it is a high pitched, loud, whiny noise which I imagine is the burrs spinning, but itâs almost not even worth it to use because of how loud it is.Other than that, it doesnât have a very good seal, so itâs quite a bit messy when youâve used it a few times. If you donât care about really loud, annoying noises right in the morning, this is the best budget burr grinder for you (but for me, itâs a 2/5).
