Small, Handy, Useful!
My husband is a very picky person when it comes to products. He can always find something wrong with a product. However, I’m amazed that he did not complain a bit about this cute grinder! He’s happy that he can grind coffee beans each morning and make fresh coffee for himself and me. We approve this product!

Nice grinder
Really good quality product: the grinder looks nice and grinds the beans really well. It’s perfect for making drip coffee. Even the cleaning brush coming with the product is good quality.

Quality Product Solid Built
Very nice grinder! You can feel the weight when you hold it. I like the grinding dial built on top of the grinder which is convenient to adjust the grinding grade. Easy to grind for a girl like me. I think this product has great value for what I paid.

Great pour over grinder. Lousy manufacturer support.
Very well made. Grinds true to the setting with taken consideration of bean type. Has improved the brewing of same bean type against previous grinders. Problem is I asked for detail specifics on disassembly, for cleaning, and then reassembly. Manufacturer provided pdf of same brochure shipped in the grinder box. Relied on YouTube videos for better instruction. The retention of grinds were as minimal as any other grinders I have used. 5* would have been given if manufacturer after purchase support had been minimally performed, but they miserably failed. If you have prior experience with similar grinders cleaning disassembly, Highly Recommend a Purchase.

oh. so close, but has a major problem
Timemore S3 Manual Coffee Grinder – External Adjustment with Stainless Steel Patented Burr | Hand Coffee Grinder Hign Presicion | Premium Timemore Grinder Chestnut S3, Blackoutstanding concept a little bit poorly executed. i dont do ppourovers, drips or moka. i am an expresso guy. i have tried several manual grinders over the years and they are not good at all for espresso coffee. the problem is in the dialing in. the difference between a proper percolation and a burnt or sour cup are measured in microns in grind settings. the problem with internal dialed manual grinders is there is not alot of variability. they usually have like 10 steps or maybe as many as 20. for espresso where the very minutest differnce in partical size really makes all of the difference cannot be overstated. here with the s3 timemore has leapt forward with working that out. the outside dial for whatever reason–science–offers alot more granularity in steps. it offers 0 to 90 steps and feels practically stepless. which is fantastic in principle, but misses in practical use. now here is what happened. the grinder handle has printed on the underside recommended values for different brew types. for espresso it says 0-1.0 which is 10 steps. so i set it for 0.5, the half way mark to start dialing in. put 21 grams of beans in and proceeded to grind. a frankly laborious process. half way thru the 2min and 7second session i noticed that the dial had moved to 0.2. oh no.!! so somehow in normal usage the dial shifted from what i wanted and a much finer grind. this cannot be allowed to happen. granted it may be user error, i submit. but, still. so, this was a bit frustrating. it is almost stepless, i didnt pursue further investigation yet, but this feels a bit like a dealbreaker. once you select a position it should be locked to that position. it is hard enough to dial in, nevermind being where you think you are and doing 2 minutes or manual grinding only to find out you did it wrong because the device failed to stay put.look, i love the idea. and perhaps with practice this sort of thing doesnt happen. but it should never have happened. the build quality aside from this glaring fail, is pretty solid. the folding handle design is fantastic. i dont really know what to say. its kind of like they dropped the ball. i also think that 10 steps-ish for espresso still might be kind of not enough. for pourovers and drip and moka, the precision dialing in is not as critical so this may be fine for you. but for espresso, i think maybe it doesnt make the cut.

Play barista with this stylish coffee bean grinder.
I am always trying to up my coffee making game. I don’t especially like coffee, but I have become quite fond of making Cafe Colada (aka cafecito or Cuban Espresso). When done right, it is more like candy than coffee so I figured if I increased the quality of my brewing materials, the resultant brews would be that much better.Well…not so much. But it does add a nice couple of steps to the process. The issue is finding the right beans. There are not many bean selections available at my local supermarkets, not for Espresso anyhow.I am very particular to a certain brand (Cafe Bustello), even the smell of others is enough to turn me off (Cafe La Llave or Pilon). That alone was enough to push me back to the pre-ground packs of Bustello. I am still looking, maybe I’ll find some beans from that brand. For the brands I did try, I was able to produce fine grounds fit for an Espresso using the adjustment dial (0.10). The lower the number, the finer the grind and Espresso is very fine.Cleaning was a snap, pull the top off and tap the residuals into whatever receptacle you are using to store, then crank the grinder a few more times, then repeat the tapping out process. The crank folds in to tuck alongside the grinder and goes into a nice carry bag smoothly. Also included was a wood-handled stirring spoon, which in itself is pretty awesome to use for mixing the espumita (foamy sugar).

Very nice manual grinder
The external adjustment dial is what sold me on this grinder, I have a number of other hand grinders but it’s always hard to gauge the size of grind and set it correctly, especially when you’re going from different brewing methods. This makes that so incredibly convenient and easy to adjust. This grinder is very well built and gives a consistent grind size, feels great to use. Super happy with this grinder, it’s my go-to now.
