10/10 would recommend
I’ve been using this grinder every morning for over 6 months and I still love it just as much as the first day I got it. I upgraded from an electric blade grinder and I am never going back. Easy to use, easy to change the grind, easy to clean, easy to transport. Durable – I’ve dropped it on my tile kitchen floor at least twice, too, and it has been completely unaffected. The grind setting never slips over time. Great feel in the hand, just enough grip to keep a good hold on it but without it being too rough or made of grippy plastics. Can hold about 30 grams of whole beans max, which is more than I’ve ever needed. Would absolutely recommend for anyone needing a quality and affordable hand burr grinder.

Chestnut C2 max
Likes: inexpensive for a quality grinder, takes little strength to grind, quickly grinds 1-3 servings of beans (1 minute auto drip), easy adjustment with noticeable clicks. Larger ground cup makes this good for everyday use. Quiet ð¤«Uses: great for moka pots, pour overs, auto drips, perculators. It can work for espresso if use 4,5, setting, directions say to use caution when going below 6 to prevent damage.Maintenance: Cleaning is simple. Shake and brush out dust. No washing required.Enhancements: C3 max which supposedly is able to make better espresso grind if needed. There are more expensive grinders out there but for home or travel, this grinder rocks! Simple, reliable, and durable. I like this “older” model. It’s a keeper.Follow up, some users find that screwing the grind cup back is sometimes difficult? Use the brush that came with the grinder and brush the treads on the cup outside/grinder inside after every use before storing. The grinds will impede the threads from tightening. I usually grind approximately 1/3 cup of grounds in the morning. It literally takes about 1-2 minutes depending on grind size. I use mine almost everyday and it’s still sharp and reliable. Great product for the money ð

Great Grinder at the right price
I bought an electric grinder at a similar price first, and it gave wayy too much coffee dust and didnât make great pour over. Bought this hand grinder because it was cheaper than an expensive grinder. It makes GREAT coffeee – little to no coffee bean dust. So much better than electric grinder. And I like the always it feels.

My first grinder and itâs great
This is so easy and effective. Itâs fast and infinitely adjustable. Really no need for anything electric. Gives a very nice tactile feel while youâre grinding your beans. Easy to clean.

Excellent little grinder for home, travel, camping, etc.
Purchased this for an upcoming camping trip and use with our aeropress coffee maker. It worked great and was pretty quick, too. We get grounds sufficient for about three coffees out of one grind (takes about a minute or two) and it is easy to grind.

Unacceptable Condition
The product arrived in unacceptable condition. It contained used coffee beans, indicating it had been previously used and not properly cleaned. The brush was already opened, further confirming the lack of care in its packaging. This is highly unhygienic and unacceptable.

Better than the old electric grinder, makes for great coffee.
I’m no coffee expert, I just have to have my morning coffee; I’m one of those people who really isn’t fit for company until I’ve had my first cup. I recently read an article about how conical burrs were much better for grinding coffee beans than the electric blade grinders that became popular a few decades ago, which is what I had been using. (It makes such an awful noise, scares the pets like nothing else.) So when I saw this grinder, I was eager to try it out and get a better grind, and be rid of the noise in the bargain. Being my first hand grinder, I’m new to all this and wasn’t sure what to expect. There really isn’t any assembly, the handle fits over the top and you just press it down into place after adding the beans. Setting the grind was kind of tricky, they tell you to first turn it clockwise, then turn it back counter-clockwise, so it gets a little confusing with how many “clicks” you need for whichever grind you want. My daily coffee is made with a Keurig machine, so I aimed for medium to medium fine grind. (I’ve yet to try it out on a Moka pot, which is the espresso grind.) Just load up the beans and turn the handle, you can feel the conical burr at work and can easily tell when it’s done. Still not sure if I’ve got the grind set correctly, will double check on that, but I was happy with the result anyway. Very compact and slightly heavy. The textured barrel helps you keep a grip while grinding, the bottom compartment unscrews easily. Nice that they include a bag, if you need to take it with you. The soft brush has a long handle so it can reach into all the crevices. Just wish the setting of the grind was a little less tricky for newbies like me.

It very good has a nice modern look and a good grinding size but the only issue I have with it is it being too hard at grinding like you need strength to grind it and some time it get stuck but overall its good would recommend it for starters
Eleazar Barba –
If you have a ceramic grinder it will clogged up fairly easy and it requires you to clean almost immediately so you find yourself wasting your time cleaning than enjoying your coffee, but with the steel grinder like this you can get your coffee right away.
