Excellent introduction to Coffee
This is the perfect grinder to get into coffee as a long term hobby. It is well built, extremely enjoyable to use, and if you plan on drinking anything except espresso it gets the job done great. I use an Aeropress almost everyday and I switch which beans I’m using month to month, and it has done a great job for the past 2 months so far. A lot of people online recommend buying a $100+ grinder, but I think this one will last a long time and do as much as I plan on doing for the foreseeable future.If you’re getting into drinking coffee as a hobby or want to get a good quality gift for a coffee drinker who wants to start using beans, I highly recommend this coffee grinder!

Exceeds Expectations
I bought this as an occasional backup grinder after an extended power outtage without my electric grinder left me drinking instant coffee for two weeks. BUT, this Chestnut hand grinder has become my go-to everyday grinder instead. Highly recommend!1. It feels well-made. Heavy metal and smooth handle action. Even the bottom cup screws into the main body nicely.2. The grind is even, easily-adjustable, and my coffee flavor is noticeably improved over my electric grinder.3. Grinding is quick and easy. A full pot of coffee for us is two grinds of beans in the Chestnut, and I can make it happen as quickly as filling my electric grinder and putting it through its cycle.4. No worries about power. Now I’m a coffee prepper, and this grinder will definitely come with me for any camping trip or road trip. Packs up small.

100% control of coffee grinding
While I am not stupid, it took me a while to understand how to adjust the grinder setting. In my opinion, the instructions are not clear. After figuring it out, I am extremely pleased with how it works. Yes, the threads are super fine on the cup that catches the grounds, you simply need to be conscious of that and respect it. A video an older woman posted helped tremendously. I had my doubts about pour over coffee. After purchasing everything I needed, it produces a fantastic cup of coffee!! Yes it takes effort and it is time consuming and can be messy, but the quality of coffee is amazing! I searched Google for how many grams of coffee beans to use for a 13 ounce cup of coffee and it recommend around 26 grams. For me, that is insane. I use 13 grams and I am pleased with the strength of the coffee and flavor. By the way, it doesn’t hurt to have a quality kitchen scale!! I use a paper filter in my pour over device mostly for ease of cleaning.The grinder is extremely well made and heavy duty. They engineered the handle perfectly. It operates easily and smoothly. You definitely know when you have finished grinding all of your coffee beans!!! I very highly recommend this product.Friday the 13th 2024. September.

Great as long as you donât plan on frequently changing grind size
Setting the grind size is frustrating but otherwise well built and does a good job. I appreciate that the base that collects the ground coffee is exactly 100 g so can be used to measure out the right amount of beans without having to tear the scale. You can grind enough beans for a cup of coffee in less than a minute and itâs got much higher quality blades than an electric grinder at the same price and doesnât make annoying noise for my roommates on mornings when I get up early. It feels like a very well built item and looks and feels nice to operate.Really the only downside to this is the annoying design for how to set the grind size. I typically just use one grind setting for a bag of beans so itâs only an occasional annoyance to get it dialed in, if you want to change it often maybe consider buying something else but if youâre like me and donât and are able to find this on sale during prime day like I did, itâs absolutely worth it at that price.

Every morning at works starts with a coffee grind workout
My routine, get into the office early. Setup my laptop at my desk. Fill up the grinder with my home roasted single origin beans. Walk around the office while taking mental inventory of things I need to do for the day while grinding the beans. 5 minutes later I’m making a quad-shot latte and then back to my desk to get started. This thing has provided consistent grinds for the last year and shows no signs of stopping. Its well built and totally a fantastic value. It will grind as fine or course as needed. My only suggestion is that I’ve learned it grinds better at a slow to medium pace, where too fast of a pace will tend to take longer, likely due to the beans not being given a chance to fall into the burrs.

Quality compact manual coffee grinder
I’m very happy with this coffee grinder. It’s compact, easy-to-use, reasonably priced, and seems to produce a fairly uniform grind. I have an electric grinder, so I mainly use this TIMEMORE grinder for times when the electric power goes out, or I need to grind coffee when away from home. It gets the job done.

Great product
This is made well and works great. I have a 25 year old Bosch electric that still works like new but the friction it creates seems to leave a slightly burnt taste. This machine gives a better flavor in a French press. Two loads for twelve cups is perfect. Cleaning is easy or not necessary really.
