If you are looking for a good quality matcha, this is not it. Tastes bitter and dull in colour – really disappointed. No returns/refunds available, this is going in the trash.

Very good for the price
This is one of the less expensive matcha powders and it’s better than many that are more expensive … but not as good as super-premium ones. The color of a nice verdant green â I’ve seen some that are way more olive/brown and some that are a bit more green… again, good but not great. This is a recurring theme of the review â but again, it’s under $2/oz. The flavor has a slightly bitter taste (and a tiny bit “fishy” as it should be), but missing some of the top notes (grassy, herby, fresh) that other nice ones can have. All in all, a good bargain, especially for baking or blending.

LOVE this matcha powder! Bought it to start getting into making my own matchas and really love the taste and it definitely lasts.
