Este vaso es un excelente producto, vale la inversiÃ³n que haces por Ã©l. Al principio tenÃa dudas sobre adquirirlo ya que no era muy aficionado al cafÃ© o las bebidas calientes. Pero ahora que lo tengo lo uso mÃ¡s de lo que pensÃ© que lo usarÃa: en dÃas frÃos o cuando se me hace tarde para ir al trabajo pongo mi cafÃ© en el vaso y tengo la confianza que no habrÃ¡ derrames y que el contenido estarÃ¡ caliente por mucho tiempo.Otra ventaja es la resistencia: ya se me cayÃ³ un par de veces y salvo una ligera abolladura en la base no hubo mayor problema. No le he quitado el plÃ¡stico que traÃa desde nuevo para protegerlo un poco de los rayones ya que mi trabajo es un poco rudo y por esa misma razÃ³n elegÃ el que no estÃ¡ pintado pero aÃºn asÃ ha resistido los rayones excepto en la base que ya se rayÃ³ por ponerlo en superficies muy abrasivas aunque es algo mÃnimo y que sÃ³lo comprueba la alta calidad que tiene.El precio puede parecer elevado pero la relaciÃ³n costo beneficio es muy buena y si no te urge tanto puedes esperar alguna oferta y adquirirlo con algÃºn descuento, sÃ³lo es cuestiÃ³n de paciencia y estar al pendiente.

Great travel mug. I use it every work day and it keeps my coffee super hot for a long time. First few times I used it I was surprised how hot it was inside. Thermos still making great quality products like when I was a kid. The vacuum seal is great too. Spill proof. Just a great mug, canât beat it.

By far the best travel mug I’ve ever used
This is the third Thermos travel mug of this type that I’ve owned over a period of time approaching two decades, and the fact that I continue to use one speaks volumes about my satisfaction with its design and performance. These mugs used to be available at a local department store but are no longer sold there so mail order is my only option for obtaining oneâeither that or finding another local store that carries them, and frankly that is more trouble than it’s worth when they are readily available on Amazon.This mug keeps my coffee hot for several hours and drinkably warm for several more. I can always tell without having to look at it whether the lid is open or closed by running my index finger through the slot opposite the side I’m drinking from to determine the position of the locking lever, something that is especially helpful in the dark or when I’m driving. Another thing I like about the mug is the tapered bottom, which allows it to fit into smaller cupholders like those in my trusty 19 year old G35 coupe.The little care and use pamphlet found inside a new mug states that while it is nominally top rack dishwasher safe, hand washing is preferable. It also advises that liquids should not be allowed to remain in the mug for more than 24 hours and that the mug should be thoroughly dried after rinsing or cleaning. My experience is that the longevity of your mug will be greatly enhanced if you follow these recommendations.Because I drink my coffee black I have no problem with bacterial growth in the lid caused by traces of dairy or non-dairy milk/cream lingering in the crevices of the cover, and all I usually do to clean the lid is to rinse it under hot tap water. Every once in a while I do dismantle it to give it a thorough hand cleaning and as I have always been the Mr. Fix-it typeâstarting at the age of four when I drove my father crazy by taking apart flashlights to investigate how they workedâI actually enjoy doing this. (Unlike the flashlights I dismantled in my youth, I always put the lid back together again.)For those who complain about the lid retaining water after rinsing it or running it through the dishwasher, I have found that leaving the lid in the open position and turning it upside down while/after cleaning allows virtually all of the retained water to drain and evaporate.When new I have found that the lid’s seal is tight as a drum, and as the mug gets older and the seals inevitably deteriorate I can handle a small dribble of coffee escaping from the lid if I knock it over. The only reason I bought a new one is because after years of use the dribbling has become a bit more problematic of late and because my old one is battered from having been dropped too often in workplace parking lots, something that is no longer a problem for me since I am five years retired. :o)

This is it. This is the one.
No need to shop for a cup that keeps your beverage hot for 8+ hours because you found it just now. This cup is incredible. I always take the âKeeps things hot for 8 hoursâ statements with a grain of salt. This cup proved that statement to be true.I forgot all about a cup of tea I brewed early in the morning at 5:30am on my kitchen counter.I came home at 3:30pm, saw it, opened the lid, took a sip and it was still so hot I had to take the lid off for 15 minutes. It seriously traps in the heat. The lead is pretty sweet too. You twist the top and it opens or closes. The only downside is itâs not completely obvious that itâs closed. The feeling of it switching to open and closed gets a little weak after some use. However, it does still seal even if it feels like it doesnât close. Very easy to use, very comfortable to hold, durable, and it keeps your drinks hot.What more can you ask for? Nada.

stays hot but lid leaks
This keeps your drink hot/cold for a long time. Several hours in fact.And its insulating properties are the best i have found. My one problem is in the lid.While the coffee doesn’t leak, the lead isn’t sealed properly. Its made with a silver rim glued OVER a black inner ring. There are small gaps in this that allow water to get into the space under the silver rim when you wash it. And then when drinking the water will run back out and down your chin.I bought this to replace an older version that I loved and had a better designed lid. It lasted me for about 8 years before I dropped it and broke it sadly.This new version is still good but be careful when washing it to no submerge it or you will get that annoying dribble.
