Generally, very nice.
I have some old Thermos travel mugs, and I decided to try a new one. In general, I really like this mug. The only slightly annoying feature is that when the twist top clicks into the open position, it’s at an angle and not with the opening aiming towards one’s mouth. Still, it seems to work pretty well, and it doesn’t spill.I also want to point out with the issues in the news regarding black plastic being contaminated with recycled plastic contaminated with fire retardants, I wrote the manufacturer. They responded that they only use virgin polypropylene. I suppose the could have lied, but I’m assuming that their responsiveness in addressing my concern and their specific information means that they are being truthful.

Well designed
Keeps coffee hot. Large but not too large. Love the handle. Lid screws on easily and you can drink off either side. Locks easily for zero spill. Fits nicely in the drink holder in our car. Easy access to clean (I hand-wash but I believe it’s dishwasher safe). Looks good. Thermos quality. This is as close to a perfect portable coffee mug as you can get.

Another great product from thermos!
Very stylish, easy to clean, keeps the coffee hot for at least 1 to 2 hours. Still warm after 4-5 hours! Really enjoying using it daily!

Very well made mug
Okay, so Iâm in love with this coffee mug! It is so well made and the design was completely thought through. I love that the lid can be completely disassembled and cleaned and itâs very easy to do. It is also completely leakproof. Coffee stays hot as described. Love it!

doesn’t keep coffee hot
It will keep it warm at best and only for about 3 hours. My other Thermos kept it hot to warm for about 6 hours. I want that one. I also don’t like the lid, you need 2 hands to open it. One to hold the cup itself and the other hand to twist the lid open. My older Thermos was just a push button. 1 finger and 1 hand. I also don’t like the anti slip grip. The ridge on it hurt my fingers as I have eczema on my hand and have many open cuts. So I really don’t like it. Thermos has copied everyone else. new and improved! NOT! It really isn’t. I would pay more for the one I had, it is so more worth it, at least it would keep your coffee hot. This is just warm. I guess I will keep looking for a replacement. It is a nice color

Thermos Icon is mostly improved, but…
My previous Thermos stainless steel 16 oz cup was “perfect”, so I was discouraged when I could not find a replacement. The newer Icon series cup is about 3/4 inch shorter, so now fits directly under my Keurig, unlike ghe old cup. The bottom diameter is identical, so it fits in same cup holders but it tapers out faster to hold the same amount of liquid.The handle is thicker with a new grip texture. The sealing lid is effective, but a bit more difficult to operate. A simple single push button on the old cup’s lid would quickly seal from accidental liquid loss when traveling, dropped, or over-tipped. The newer lid requires holding cup with one hand, while your other hand twists top knob a full 180 degrees in order to seal the top. This is the main reason to remove a star!

Keeps coffee hot
I debated purchasing this cup for a long time, looking for something shorter to fit under our Keurig and Nespresso machines. Finding nothing with a handle that would keep coffee hot, I purchased it. Taking the cover off, it fits under both machines. For some reason, this dimension is not published anywhere..ðð¡ð ðð®ð©, “ð°ð¢ðð¡ð¨ð®ð ðð¡ð ðð¨ð¯ðð«,” ð¢ð¬ ð ð/ð ð¢ð§ðð¡ðð¬ ð¡ð¢ð ð¡..I love the cover. It is very easy to use. The amount of hot coffee dispersed is controlled so you do not burn your mouth, and the cover comes apart easily for easy cleaning..The coffee stays hot for long periods. Twenty-four hours after I finished my iced coffee, I still had ice in my cup. I have not had any handle issues as some others have. I will edit this review to a “one” if I do.
