Not QUITE Up to Starbucks Level
I was one of those people that spent $7 on coffee from Starbucks every day. I decided to invest the in equipment to make my own Nitro Cold brew at home.This purchase was one of those purchases, I only use it for coffee so if you’re looking to use this for any other drink, this is not your review.Let’s start with the bad. It just doesn’t come out as foamy and light as I was expecting it to. When you see Starbucks do a pour, it looks smooth and frothy. While pulling the tap definitely ejects coffee, I don’t feel like it’s the frothy quality of the bigger machines.I’m continuing to use it though, I feel like surely there is some benefit here, and I don’t want to give up on such a large purchase.For reference, I put in about 80 oz of liquid in it (60% full), and 4, 2-gram nitro cartridges. I’m considering trying the Nitros Oxide cartridges instead.Coffee using this + other home gadgets ends up costing about $2 a glass, so I’m happy either way!

So worth it! A must for coffee lovers
We ordered this after a having Nitro coffee for the first time at a family memberâs house. The maker itself is easy enough to use. It doesnât come with the N20 or N2 canisters, but they are simple to find, even at any vape shop.The longest hardest part is waiting for the cold brew, which is a whole different process. Even after making the cold brew, it still takes about an hour and a half before you can have the coffee. Each N20 canister takes 20 minutes to settle (it needs 2) and then an hour in the refrigerator. BUT the out come is so worth it! Needs nothing added, it is creaming and sweet all on its own!We have 3 people in our house who drink this coffee and we each get 2 12oz cups from it each week.Making the cold brew and setting up the Nitro coffee is something I look forward to doing each weekend.The work and time is so worth it, truly a must for any coffee lover!

Customer service is non-existent
Loved the product when it worked, however, a leak appeared after a couple months of use. After messaging seller on Amazon and getting no response, I filled out a help request on their website. It has been a few months now with no response and I am stuck with an expensive item that is useless.

Working well so far
Finally got around to actually using this thing. It is really nice having ~2 liters of nitro cold brew ready whenever you need it. The build quality is pretty good too. Keep in mind you may need to use 2-4 n2 cartridges to get the cascade you want – this is simply a gas:liquid ratio that is necessaryAs for the tap âleakingâ – the actual valve is at the top of the dispensing nozzle, so there will be some coffee held in place by surface tension in the spout. If you wait and shake the keg, itâll drip out into your glass. Do that before storing it again otherwise youâll see some coffee in your fridge

Por mÃ¡s capsulas de nitro que se usen, de las marcas recomendadas, simplemente no hace espuma. Se convierte en un dispensador muy caro de cafÃ© frÃo, solamente. No vale la pena comprarlo.

So $49 duty got my cold brew here. Works great. Good luck finding N2 (nitrogen) cartridges unless you want to pay the single vendor that seems to have them at a exorbitant rate plus duty on top. Iâd return it but paying to ship back, paperwork to get duty back plus a box of N2O Iâll never use just isnât high up on my list. To the shelf with the archived kitchen junk it goes. Total buyerâs remorse.

Best coffee experience I’ve ever had
This is my first nitro coffee maker, but I’m an old hand to homebrewing. I’ve done many, MANY gallons of wine and beer. This is, by far, the easiest experience I’ve ever had with a brewing system. Assembly was a breeze. Instructions were easy to understand. The quality of the product is superb. The only issue I’ve had with it is the same one everyone’s had with it. It drips a little bit after you pour a glass, and they gave me a little rubber cap to stop that from happening. I’m looking forward all the nitro cold brew I can stand this summer. I’d 100% recommend this to anyone thinking of getting into nitro cold brew at home.Edit: I keep referring to this as a brewing system, and it’s not. It’s a keg. And it works flawlessly. It produces the creamiest nitro coffee you’ve ever had. And don’t be afraid to experiment. I was using this horribly bitter Ethiopian Single Source for my morning coffee, and as a pour over, it was awful. I ground the rest of the bag and cold brewed them for 12 hours. Then I diluted that 1 to 1. Put that through the Royal Brew nitro keg, and that coffee tastes completely different. So much better than the pour over. This keg has literally changed the way I think about coffee.

Easy and fun
I bought this for my husband for his Christmas present when I noticed he was missing nitro brew floats that we enjoy at the beach. He has really enjoyed getting to know how to use it, and making his own cafe quality nitro brew at home. He even mentioned to me about the “leaking” some people claimed they were experiencing and explained that it was simply residual coffee in the nozzle. He tapped it a few times to disrupt the air bubble that kept it inside and it emptied out. We have had no leaking at all. He did the math on how much nitrogen he needed for the amount of cold brew, and he gets inches and inches of foam on his. I suppose those who do not get the foam are simply not adding enough nitrogen, or they are not adding it in the correct time intervals.I will say the only complaint that I have is that this was touted as an American made company and when I opened it up to wrap it, it said “made in China” on the box. Other than that, completely pleased with this product.
