My favorite mug!
I got this mug as a Christmas gift last year and it is my favorite mug! The quality is great too as it has held up with regular dishwasher washings over the last year. I just bought one to give as a Birthday gift. Anyone who is a Tolkien fan and also enjoys hot beverages will love this mug.

Solid coffee mug
It’s well-made and solid, and so far the design hasn’t shown any indication of wearing off. Only two nitpicks. First, the base is slightly narrower than the body of the mug, which isn’t obvious from the picture, and that can make it easier to tip over. Not by much, and I haven’t spilled my coffee yet, but I do have a preference for wider bases than this.Second, there is a big, empty space where the moon letters should be. I was kind of wondering if they would appear when the mug got hot or cold, but so far nothing. We have the technology to do that, after all. It’s not a big deal, and it wasn’t an advertised feature of the mug, so I’m not docking any stars for its lack. Maybe I have to wait until the right day of the year!

Beautifully designed mug
I am very pleased with this mug. The map and textures are slightly raised so you can feel them when you’re holding the mug, which gives it a more premium feel. The details and design are done with great scrutiny and care, especially the runes, which are colored a dark red. The ceramic also gives it a pleasant look when the light reflects off the mug. I hope they make a larger one with the map of Middle-Earth or something similar, as I would definitely purchase that as well.
