Agree with other reviewers. Concept is great, execution leaves a lot to be desired. First off, its a HAND GRINDER. A well built one to be sure, but thats a 10-20 dollar item. The gimmick of the dispenser spout is a vibrating second chamber (which is filled up with your hand-ground herb) that lights up and vibrates the herb out the spout and into whatever you want. I would have kept it just for that cool-looking featureâ¦but unfortunately, thatâs the part that doesnât work very wellâ¦barely spit a bit of herb out, even after shaking and tapping. And my herb was dryâ¦not sticky at all. Disappointingâ¦I bought 2 of them as one was to be a XMas gift. Glad I tried mine before I gifted. That would have been embarrassing.

An actual not-a-bot review from a stoner
As a chef, I’ll be honest, I was disappointed with this when I first got it.It seemed so plain and unexciting by comparison to the 3 or 4 other solutions for grinding spices into small tubes, but it has absolutely been the best. It takes a little getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, a chopstick to push the spices down in the tubes, or you can use it to put them directly into any kind of small jar or bowl. You can grind and put spices into little tubes in a matter of 30 seconds once you get the hang of it.Honestly, take the time to get comfortable with it and this is a super portable, super convenient little device for all kinds of on-the-go spice grinding needs.

It really isnt a great product besides doing manual grinding
Firstly i will give props where its due in the fact that the grinder itself is of a good quality. However, the description of the product is misleading and the design is flawed. The idea that it is auto anything is misleading… it doesnt grind and the dispense is a vibration and not any sort of mechanic to actually push the herbs out. Doesnt work when it is full as everything get stuck together… it doesnt feed out even when turned on and held at an angle. For the amount of money spent on it.. and the reviews of it… this is not what youre looking for and id suggest to look elsewhere. Really disatissfied with this item and i generally dont give any sort of reviews but i felt that i was mislead in its abilities and wouldnt want any other person to buy it assuming its an amazing product which it isnt. Simply put, buy a good manual grinder cause this is the equivalent except it vibrates and good for annoying yourself.

Almost works like advertised
The video ads show flower flowing neatly from the nozzle. That is not how it works in real life. It actually requires some tapping and turning to get all of the flower out. Overall, a little overpriced but still a nice novelty item.

A Great Grinder That Also Auto Dispenses
The Tectonic is a normal, but high quality grinder that also has a cool automatic dispensing feature. You operate it like you would normally use a grinder, but the material then drops into a secured chamber that you can see with the side window. You open up the sprout and push the button, and then your material automatically dispenses. This does not grinder the material for you, you still have to grind it yourself. However the grind is high quality and produces fluffy ground material.I liked the automatic dispensing as it didn’t make a mess like a normal grinder. Great value, as I saw a number of normal grinders in the same price range, and some even more money, but without the cool features that the Tectonic9 has. Would recommend if your looking for a high quality grinder that also had some pretty cool and useful features not seen elsewhere.

Its overpriced for what it
As a smoker of many years and upgraded in grinders i thought this would be next step up but its average and over priced.Pros: Itâs pretty, rechargeable and has a neat flip/close feature.Cons: takes time and patience to work as intended. Niether flip/close feature locks into place and needs to be held. If it had a blade inside below the upper grinding chamber it would make more sense. The only reason it needs a charge is to light up and vibrate.It works great if you donât mind taking your time grinding a bunch up and using the spout to fill your wrap. Otherwise i use a spice to grind up an ounce and it only takes minutes. Grab some cones, a small funnel and boom.Personally, i wouldnât recommend this for this for the beginner but for thr advanced smoker with a niche need. It could use some redesigning before itâs appealing to a larger audience.

It’s a beautiful gadget.
It’s a nice little thing. Love fun little devices and neat things, needless to say it has exceeded my expectations so far, when it grinds it shoots things straight into your tray or plate, or wherever you want it, it’s easy to complete a good grinding process, it’s a cool little device. Give it a try, I will definitely recommend it to friends!
