Glad I got this. Fits into most teapots. Some obviously better than others depending on the size of the opening. Definitely worth purchasing if you prefer to brew loose leaf teas. If I could make one change, I’d have the slits at the bottom going all the way around instead of just a few on each “side” so to speak. But it still works quite well with the steeping slits it has.

Die Teesiebe aus Baumwolle finde ich ineffizient, da sie nicht nur nach einiger Zeit unappetitlich aussehen, sondern sich nicht hygienisch reinigen lassen (in der Waschmaschiene = Waschmittel im Tee, mit SpÃ¼li werden sie weder sauber noch wÃ¼rde ich erneut Tee darin zubereiten wollen).Bei 1 x zu verwendenen Teebeuteln aus “Papier” oder anderen Zusammensetzungen, ist die Nachhaltigkeit in Frage zu stellen.Auf der Suche nach einer Alternative habe ich mich fÃ¼r Teabloom entschieden. ErfÃ¼llt absolut seinen Zweck, aber es ist darauf zu achten, dass das Glas oder die Tasse “tief” genug ist. Eine klassische Teetasse aus einem Teeservice ist dafÃ¼r ungeeignet, da die FÃ¼llmenge fÃ¼r ca. 1 TeelÃ¶ffel losen Tee in dem Teabloom ja auch noch durch das hinzufÃ¼gen von heiÃem Wasser ausdehnt und der Tee sich nicht entsprechend in einer kleinen Tasse entfalten kann. Ich trinke gerne Englisch-Breakfas-Tea und den dann aus BECHERN mit bis zu 500 ml FassungsvermÃ¶gen.SpÃ¼lmaschinen geeignet; am einfachsten geht der Teerest im feuchten bzw. nassen Zustand aus dem Teabloom und lÃ¤sst sich gut nachspÃ¼len.Als Alternative zu herkÃ¶mmlichen Teesieben-/beuteln: empfehlenswert !

Well-made glass infuser
I bought this as a replacement for the infuser that came with my glass teapot (which broke while in the sink awhile ago) but since I couldn’t remember what brand the original was, I was a little worried that this wouldn’t fit- it arrived perfectly, exactly as described, and the manufacturers send a nice email to ensure that the product arrives safely, since it is so fragile. It fits in my teapot perfectly & I’m so happy it all worked out.

Delicate Part
It is delicate so be careful when handling it. I broke my first infuser when going to put on my teapot. I was very excited and talking…not paying attention to how I was handling it. I hit it against my teapot and the bottom of my infuser broke off. Again it is delicate so be careful with it. I immediately ordered another infuser. This time Iâm careful with it 🙂 The glass infuser works great! I would recommend it highly!

Doesn’t work
Once you put it inside your teapot, then you cannot put the lid back on!

Great replacement
I broke the insert to the glass teapot so this was a great find as a replacement. It does not fit as low in the pot as the original one but it still works well and I am glad to have found it.

Perfect replacement
Love that this great company (all their products are high quality), offers a replacement for their tea infusion pots. It fits perfectly and I can continue to use my beautiful glass teapot. Much appreciated.
