Great Value for Form AND Function!
LOVE this teapot. Especially like the removeable strainer which lets one heat water (with the lid on) directly on stovetop & prep tea in strainer separately while water is heating (vs another brand which has the strainer fixed to the collar, so must either heat w/o the lid/collar/strainer or wait til water heated to prep tea in strainer, which by then is hot & more difficult to deal with). Love that I can bring to boil right on stovetop. Anyway, I’ve had both styles & prefer this one since I entertain a lot and this is a little more efficient. Looks great, always get lots of compliments. Cleans easily.

Nice little pot that could be even better
I bought this teapot to replace a Teaposy pot that broke after many uses. I use it daily to brew loose leaf tea for breakfast. The size is great. It brews two generous sized cups. I also like the fact that it comes with an infuser. I do wish the lid were made of glass rather than metal. The metal lid heats up while the tea is brewing and sometimes sticks to the infuser, making it difficult to remove the infuser without removing the entire lid assembly. The pot cleans easily except for the spout. Although the design of the spout makes pouring easy, it also feels quite fragile and cleaning it requires lacing something through it to remove stains (I use the end of a paper towel and baking soda paste.) All in all a great little pot, which could be even better with a few tweaks.
