Nice tea steepers!
I’m impressed this it was a great purchase. Both tea steepers came undamaged. Tough metal, the mesh can be bent with some force in case you have to reshape them but they’re not way weak either. They are made very sturdy, they have a little closing clasp and a pin and hole to line it up perfectly to close it tight so the leaves wont escape. The chain is long enough to hang but not over the top long, there is a little hook to hook it on the side of the glass or cup. They are 2 inches round, the chain is 4 inches and in all with hook chain jump ring connection and steeper its 6 inches long. They close very tightly, with no gaps.The good: Metal is great tough, clasp is great, everything really good except…The concerning: The litte metal joining strip is a little loose, I’m sure it wont prove a big problem but it’s still making it feel more cheap. If they fixed that they could sell this for a much higher price.

Works great, sometime hard to close
I’ve used these a few times now. They work great for your loose tea. I’ve found the latch mechanism is sometimes clumsy and hard to get closed because it’s so small. But otherwise this functions just as it should.

Great steeping loose leaf tea
These are great for your loose leaf teas. I have had no issues with the tea escaping the pod into my drink. The hook that hangs on your mug has some wiggle so if you have thicker mugs it shouldnât be an issue. The chain seems to hold up and the entire thing itself is a decent quality. They are easy to empty and clean and the amount of tea that you can fit is decent. If you like a stronger tea ( I do) you could use both pods for double the flavor. Good bang for the buck.

These do a great job but they are a little fiddly to close as there is a small “pin” that has to fit into a small hole before you can move a little lever to lock them shut. Then there is a hook on the end of the chain which you can wrap around the mug/cup handle and hook the chain onto itself, if you see what I mean, to stop it dropping into the bottom of the mug/cup. You do get more proficient at it over time.
