I have to say that I was surprised at how small this tray is, even after reviewing the dimensions prior to purchase. It will hold your teacup or mug and a small snack and that’s about it. The surface is dangerously slippery due to a shiny finish that has been put on it, which surprised me because bamboo typically has an unfinished surface. Because I have a cup I care about AND I don’t want to spill hot tea on myself, I put a small silicone mat on it to keep everything from sliding as I carry it. Despite that, it is beautifully made and I like it.

I was looking for something to hold larger servings of tea without having to go back and forth to the kitchen (especially during longer meetings), and this is perfect. It comfortably fits the Tea Forte 24oz tea pot as well as a 8-16oz cup with enough room for a very small snack or milk/sugar. You’re not going to get a full tea party in this plate, but you definitely can get enough tea for an hour.

It is small but the perfect size for my two cup teapot and tea cup. It’s light weight but sturdy and looks very very nice. It could be used for all kinds of snacks for two or even just one (lol) like crackers and cheese, cookies, etc. It’s the perfect size to be used as a small sandwich or lunch tray. I just love it. It was much nicer than I expected. However, it is wood so I wouldn’t put a glass or can that would sweat directly on it. Doing so could possibly cause a water ring on it. Use a coaster. I’m very happy with my purchase!
