I love the shape of these tea filter bags! They’re cool, yet also totally functional and effective. The paper filter is sturdy yet lightweight, allowing for easy herbal infusion. It’s perfect for holding my organic herbal tea blends. There is absolutely no leakage of herb particles once the bag is tightly closed and in the water.The drawstrings are really clean and strong; to tighten, just make sure to pinch the bag closed with one hand while you slowly and steadily pull the strings with the other, to prevent tearing. I always tie a knot afterwards for extra security. There is no necessary heat sealing of any kind unlike what’s written on the product page.There is no strange smell (sometimes there are with filters and products from China) and the bags come packaged tightly but neatly in resealable plastic bags. Each teabag can hold several tablespoons of herbs. I like that the shape and size makes it really compact, allowing me to pack more bags into larger bags/containers for myself and for those who enjoy my soothing herbal tea blends.The price is much higher than most similar tea filter bags on Amazon (I just saw that the price is $21 now- $4 more than my recent purchase!). Therefore I probably won’t be purchasing these as often as I purchase similar rectangle-shaped bags. Other paper tea filters work just as well for a much more reasonable price! But the quality is good and the shape is cool. I would purchase this again if the price went way down and would recommend it to other tea/herb lovers like myself. But I’m removing a star for the unnecessarily high price. It was expensive when I bought it and now it’s even worse.

Good tea bag.
Brews a nice cup of tea but because it’s rounded, it’s kind of small. So if you like to use more then about one and a half teaspoons of loose tea, it may be too tight to brew properly (especially if the tea you use absorbs and expands a lot). Other then that, these are a good buy.

These bags are really made of paper. I’ve never thought to try a burn test before until I saw other tea bag reviews. I tried it and the bag went up in flames… nothing melted or smelled like plastic. If you hang the string over your cup it will drip but I don’t mind throwing the string inside the cup. I will purchase again.

I have used others, but they’re opening was much smaller. These ones have a good size opening and are paper, which is great for recycling â»ï¸ And they don’t tear. I always make a pot of tea and rinse when done and squeeze out any liquid from the tea bags…no tears!I like how they’re packaged as well.
