Love the new teapot. I had experience with similar teapots in England while there on assignment. There is a metallic cylinder to put your teabags in and you can steep to your hearts delight. We have a pot of tea on at pretty much all times. Also gives me a convenient way to rapidly boil water for the morning oatmeal. Couldn’t be happier with it. Energized base stays on the counter as you pour from the pot. The pot has a switch on its handle to initiate the boil. There is a second switch towards the bottom of the pot, to keep pot warm after boiling.

I like the design. It has all the features needed to brew loose-leaf tea. I especially like the attached infuser, keep warm function and the blue light. Yet, the quality is not very satisfying. For example, the infuser is paper thin. And more importantly, the plastic filter was not in the right place.

I was looking for something that was small and can be used for both water boiling and tea making with the keep warm feature (which I have not used yet) and at a reasonable price. This one meets all my expectations. I also like the LED lighting, the removable tea leaves insert and the fact that the cover can be opened almost vertically making it easier to clean the inside.
