Mine was exactly as pictured. Works just like it says too. Itâs smaller than I thought my bad so I took a photo near a coffee cup you might recognize.

All cracking/breaking reviews are user error. These are not ment to be microwaved, you should not over heat your water. Tea has a specific steeping temperature and the boiled water should be given a moment to cool Abit after boil. Easy fix, get a electric kettle.Other than the crack in the wood handle this cup is great.It arrived with a crack in the wood handle.I still plan to use and review the proper use of this style of tea cup but hope we can replace my order with one that the Handel is still sealed.Looks like a 10/10 rating but we’ll see if all these negative reviews are just auer error.

Great for tea and coffee
wonderful, beautiful product that I have purchased 4 of for pour over coffee and loose leaf tea. lid functions to retain heat and as a coaster for the brew basket so you can enjoy your hot tea or coffee. would recommend buying a set it is worth it.

A little on the small side
My mug is just as pretty as the pictures, but it only holds 11 ounces, which is a disappointment. I was looking for a larger mug, and it claims to hold 13.5 ounces, so beware it is smaller than advertised. The size of a mug is very important.I tried it so you don’t have to: microwaving (especially after the dishwasher) is a BAD IDEA.My partner ordered this for me and only skimmed the description, and told me it was both dishwasher and microwave safe. Well, it did survive. It went through the dishwasher fine. In the microwave the handle expanded and overheated and I had to leave it there for a long time to cool down. My whole kitchen smelled like burning. I put it in with my tea at the same setting my other mug works at, and thought nothing of it till the smell started. The handle never went back to the original shape, and is still rough on the hand. So just don’t do it. I almost burned my hand trying to remove it from the microwave.Overall, the strainer and coaster and overall design are 5 stars, but the wooden handle is 1 star. I do not like it. It also feels a bit awkward to hold the way it is positioned.

Optisch sehr hÃ¼bsch. Sehr praktisch durch das Sieb. LÃ¤sst sich auch gut halten. Durch die helle Keramik innen kommt der Tee gut zur Geltung.
