Great to keep coffee area clean
This mat is just what we needed to keep the coffee area on the counter clean. Somehow sugar and honey always seem to find their way to the counter and not so easy to clean the counter. The mat does not slip on the counter and will easily fit in the sink to wash off any sugary mess that may slip down and is a great place to put the every day coffee cups to be ready to wake us up in the morning. Great addition to the counter coffee space.

Nice, but Thin
This is a very nice and simple drying mat. It is labeled on the tag as a âcoffee matâ which it could also be used as.

Slow to absorb.
The description of the mat size is accurate but the main image used in the product listing is deceptive. You’ll notice that there is a large expresso machine on the mat which makes it look much bigger than it is. The mat is only as big as a small hand towel. You’ll see in my picture that I have a single cup coffee maker sitting on it and it takes up a third of that. While the mat itself does absorb fluid, it is extremely slow and takes a long time to dry. I tested about three tablespoons of water on the mat and it pooled at the top and took quite a long time to absorb and then took up about 25% of the mat. Compare that to the fabric mat I was using previously, as shown in the picture, which absorbs almost instantly. I would not recommend this mat as an alternative to a traditional fabric mat.

Great mat for the price!
This is a very nice mat and is exactly as advertised. The gray color of the mat is a deep charcoal which I love and the top of it is made of a very soft, smooth material. The bottom is made of rubber which prevents it from slipping. It seems very durable, like it will last a long time and is a great value for only $4.99.

Neoprene?
Iâm a little afraid to use this to dry anything on because itâs basically a large mouse pad or a neoprene mat. Itâs a decent size though and eventually ill use it under my coffee maker and espresso machine.

Exactly what I needed
This mat is perfect for underneath our Nespresso pot. It protects the countertop underneath, cleans well, and is neutral, so it’s not obvious. I’m super happy, and think it was a bargain, give the high quality and cushion it provides.
