    Best Coffee Ever!
I am somewhat new to the world of coffee, having gone 50 years without drinking it. I have always loved the smell of it, though. You can imagine my disappointment when I tasted black coffee for the first time. It was a shock. I tried different brands and blends but could never find one that gave me that delicious quintessential roasted nutty flavor that I was hoping for. Most were either too fruity or too burnt or just bland. Then, I purchased Jo Columbian Coffee. I was impressed that it was responsibly sourced and I wanted to support that. I did not expect that it would become my go-to coffee. It arrived very quickly (still does, every time). When I opened the bag and was immediately met with that warm, robust, nutty, almost chocolatey, cozy aroma, I knew this was going to be special. I brewed my first pot and fell in love. This absolutely struck the perfect note. It is roasted to perfection. No hint of burn or ashtray, and no tart fruit notes. Just right in that sweet spot. I look forward to getting to the office in the morning and getting that first pot brewing. I absolutely love it!I receive different coffees now as gifts, and I will try them all. I’ll brew them weak and I’ll brew the strong. I want to give them all the benefit of finding the right proportions. But so far, none have matched the exquisite flavor of this coffee. Regardless of whether it is on the weak side or the strong side, hot or cold, it does not disappoint. I realize that different folks have different tastes, but as for me, this is My Coffee!

Cold Brew yet works great Hot
Love the taste of this coffee not to strong, not to weak. Of course I never use tap water! Makes a great cup of hot coffee even with the coarse ground. Can tell it’s low acid I don’t burp much and my body handles this coffee far better than other low acid coffees.

Honestly Great grind for cold brew
I came back on my Amazon to find my order from a couple months ago of this coffee. That’s how good it was. I like to try new things and rarely re-buy the same. It was surprisingly good and spot on for a cold brew. Our house has been experimenting with various coffees to cold brew with our simplistic Bodum French Coffee Press. We’ve tried grinding our own beans coarsely but the silt of the grinds always muddles our cold brew in the pour. Jo’s, however, was a clean brew– no silt, no floaties in our cup, a strong enough flavor that can withstand melting ice and cream (our fav’ is International house caramel macchiato). This cold brew meets the range of flavor profiles in our house –I prefer the strong bitter taste of Starbucks and my daughter prefers Dunkin Donuts — but both of us are happy w/ this Jo Stone Cold brew. It’s been a year of experimenting with various grinders, beans, etc. but we found our choice! Wish it was a little cheaper. The cost prohibits me from brewing it as often as I’d like, but it’s definitely a nice treat this summer for my college kids.

Great Classic Cup of Ol Fashioned Diner Coffee
Great cup of coffee. I’ve been through about every course grind available on Amazon, and this is definitely the one. It’s all subjective, but my old fashioned steel percolator likes it, I like it, and my dog Levi loves it because I’m much more tolerable and agreeable in the morning..

    Superb
Like many others on lockdown I’ve been searching for new things to try so decided to give cold brew coffee a go. Most of what you need to know has already been said in the other reviews but I felt compelled to add to the numbers just to say this product really is very good indeed. I’ve been buying coarse ground for a while as it works well in the French press but had not tried this brand before. I have a very simple set up for cold brew (because honestly that’s all you need), and this grind delivers every single time. Fantastic aroma out of the bag, and maintains this well. Smooth sips all day long. Also works extremely well hot in the press. Also on ultra-lazy days (judge-ye-not), even nuking a cold brew cup from the fridge to make hot still tastes really good. While some have mentioned this is on the spendy side, for me its saving money on franchise coffee and actually tastes better.

Disappointing Coffee But Excellent Customer Service
I had been so looking forward to finishing my bag of Smart Ass Kicking Horse Coffee in order to open this bag of COLOMBIA JO: 12 oz, Organic Ground Colombian Coffee, Medium Roast, Fair Trade Certified, USDA Certified Organic, 100% Arabica Coffee, NON-GMO, Gourmet Coffee. Had my first cup today and what a sour disappointment. This coffee is VERY acidy and I am contemplating dumping it out. I’m going to place an order for Smart Ass Kicking Horse Coffee right now. UPDATE: I contacted the company and Shelly at Specialty Java was very helpful, even contacting Amazon to make sure I could get a refund. So I’m giving an extra star just for the excellent customer service. See picture…Colombia Joe is on the left, Kicking Horse on the right. UPDATE#2: Still more excellent customer service from Shelley who explained this coffee that is labeled a Medium Roast (see picture) is ACTUALLY a Light Roast. Since I don’t purchase Light Roast coffee, maybe that was the problem. Who Knew?

    Good, Strong coffee
I was trying to find a coffee similar to Death Wish, which my son drinks all the time. It is very good coffee, but very expensive. After reading the reviews online about WILD JO dark roast, I thought I would give it a try. I just opened the package and the smell was amazing! I just brewed 2 cups and it is absolutely wonderful. It has that very strong, dark coffee taste, with no bitterness. Most of all, I’m glad it passed the test with my 18 year old son!! He used to have to drink his coffee with a ton of cream and sugar, now he likes to drink it black. He took one taste, and said yep, this is good! This makes me very happy because he is drinking healthy, organic coffee, without all the pesticides. We will definitely be buying more of this coffee. If you like dark, full bodied coffee, with low acidity…THIS is the coffee for you!!
