I use this while camping. I use this on a long work day of driving. I use this with coffe grounds, and my tea was also delicious in here.First things first, this is perfect for on the go hot drinks. It doesn’t stay boiling hot for hours, which I like, because if I use the French press feature, the water I use to make my coffee has to be boiling. My issue with other mugs is they do their job too well. I typically can’t enjoy my coffee right after prepping it. With this, I dont have to leave the lid off for a half an hour before it becomes drinkable. That saves me from potential spills. Now you might be thinking, so this insulation is junk. No, you should still be cautious and test the drinks out. It keeps things warm, trust me.The pieces pf the French press are easy to use. The filter twists off the depresser, for easy cleaning. The mug is small and the stainless steel inside is easy to clean. My only hiccup is the lid, with two convoluted, spinning pieces. They could have done less with this lid. Its not hard to use the lid, but its also not the most comfortable. I dont know how to describe it. It is cute overall, but people would have still loved the product if it was a simpler lid design. The handle also seems weak, but that’s because it is dainty. I’m used to thick plastic handles, but this is a thin metal one. It feels strong. I hope it will hold up to the test of time, especially at the hinges.

Admittedly, you need a brush to clean the inside.Other than that, used the prior one for years, when hands not free, can secure it to belt on rare occasion.I threw away the tea-thing, use for coffee.I looked for anything remotely as good, over months, hoping for one I can clip to belt without unsecuring belt, no joy, but wow, this design is just right. Insulation value good. Sturdiness, good. Screw on cap (rarely used) has rubber O ring that ensures no leak whatsoever. Lid folds over to be more out of the way.Remember that recent rage over Stanley cups like this? If cost is no object, this is what everyone would rave about, it is extraordinarily utilitarian and reliable and tough.

I’ve tried a few different methods. For best results, you need boiling hot water, and I use two heaping tablespoons of ground coffee.Add the two scoops of your favorite ground coffee to the cup, pour in your boiling water, close the lid, without adding the plunger thingy. Let it sit for five minutes. After five minutes, uncap, add your plunger strainer thingy, and slowly push the plunger down until you feel a little resistance at the bottom. You do not want to mash the grounds. re install the cap to the Stanley cup and pour yourself a steaming hot cup of coffee. I like to use a cup instead of drinking straight from the Stanley bottle, but I’m uppity like that. You can drink straight from the bottle.Notes: I really like this thing. I use it all the time, in the house and out. My GF doesn’t like the smell of coffee and this keeps a lot of that contained until you want to pour a cup. Great idea for traveling and taking your coffee on the road. Very sturdy construction as are most Stanley products. I think this will last me for years to come.

I just purchased this to go on a cruise and it did not disappoint me. I have 2 glass french press and I was taking one of them in my carry-on bag to keep it from getting crushed but now I just dropped this into my backpack and don’t worry. I used it this past November on a cruise for 7 days and it worked perfectly. I took my own coffee and I was in coffee heaven because I don’t like cruise ship coffee. I leave out again at the end of January on another cruise and will have my new best friend in my backpack. It passes through security with no problems. It is so easy now for me to get a great cup of coffee while vacationing. Stays hot a long time for me.

The Stanley Classic Travel Mug is an excellent choice for anyone needing a durable and reliable travel cup. The mug’s double-wall vacuum insulation keeps beverages hot (or cold) for hours, making it perfect for long commutes or outdoor adventures. Its robust stainless-steel construction is built to withstand rugged use, while the secure, leak-proof lid prevents spills. The mug’s wide mouth makes it easy to clean and fill. It’s also conveniently sized to fit in most car cup holders. Overall, the Stanley Classic Travel Mug offers great performance and durability.

This mug is almost perfect. It’s rated to keep coffee hot for about four hours, which means it slowly cools down throughout the morning allowing me to actually drink it. The press is fantastic; the mesh is fine and there’s a rubber ring around the outside so you don’t get any grounds in your coffee. Visually, it’s just a cool looking mug and holds about the perfect amount of coffee. The downside is the lid. The hinge mechanism is plastic and honestly kind of fragile. My mug slipped out of my hand when I was holding it at waist level and one of the hinges broke. Additionally, after about 3 months of daily use, the lid has stopped consistently sealing when I screw it on. I now have to tip it upside down in my sink to make sure the lid is sealed before I leave and reinstall it if it hasn’t sealed. I’m not sure if the rubber gasket is damaged or what
