It doesn’t hold quite as much tea as I would like it to hold for an 18 oz cup of tea. Also when you close the device it pushes a lot of the tea out. Much of the tea escapes out of the holes. I think it’s a good idea, but it was poorly executed.

Does not hold leaves at all.
You might as well just dump the loose leaf tea leaves directly into your mug of hot water instead of buying this thing. The holes are so big they seep out into the water anyway. Also, you have to physically hold the device closed shut otherwise it will easily open and everything will come spilling out. Next time I will be spending more money and getting a better contraption because this one was just very cheaply made.
