How to Fill & Use Your Reusable Capsule for Rich, Creamy Coffee
Enjoy your favorite coffee blends in an good way with this reusable coffee capsule for your Vertuo.Line coffee machine. By following these simple steps, you can make a perfect, rich, and creamy cup of coffee every time!
Step 1: Open Your Vertuo.Line Capsule Holder
Ensure your Vertuo.Line coffee machine is turned off and unplugged for safety.
Open the machine’s capsule compartment
Step 2: Prepare Your Reusable Capsule
Remove the reusable capsule from the packaging.
Check that the capsule is clean and free from any previous coffee grounds.
Step 3: Fill the Reusable Capsule with Fresh Ground Coffee
Select the Coffee Grind:
For Espresso Strength Coffee: Use a fine coffee grind, similar to table salt. This will create a dense, rich crema and strong flavor.
For Regular Coffee Strength: A medium grind, like that for drip coffee, is perfect for a balanced brew.
How Much Coffee to Add:
Fill the capsule to just below the rim, avoiding overfilling. Use a coffee scoop or your spoon to ensure you’re adding the right amount (usually about 7-9 grams of coffee).
Tamp the Coffee:

Don’t forget about the extra two rings that comes with the capsule you might need them. Anyway, this request to review this purchase had come so fast I haven’t even used it yet as I just cleaned it with a dishwasher liquid and then rinsed it off allowing it to dry. I am sure it will work it looks so sleek with the bar code and all so that the espresso gadget will know to spit out my coffee. If it didn’t after testing it later, I will just put the smasher rod and capsule next to each other on the fireplace mantle to make them appear as a tall tower and dome home with little figurines of people standing next to them. It’s that shiny and aesthetic. Well, anyway, the rubber ring is on the round top capsule like a bug in a rug nice and secure so keep an eye on it like I will mine just in case it disappears because that thing looks really tiny and weak. But pretty sure it will all be just fine. Good purchase if it’s on sale.

Doesnât work
Itâs supposed to brew a cup of coffee and it barely brews an espresso sized cup. Itâs made very well and Iâm so bummed, but I definitely do not recommend this. I did buy illy espresso in hopes it needed a better ground coffee bean, but it didnât matter.

If you own a Nespresso coffee machine, you know the cost of the coffee is expensive. I love their coffee for the great taste and barista experience and was looking for an option to use my own ground coffees. This item solved the problem. The item is easy to fill and clean, and provides a good value for the money. I like the small tamper to press the coffee in the pod. I would definitely recommend this item.

Pay attention to the ounces this yields
Although the amount of coffee yielded is listed in the product description, the marketing photo of this item is deceiving. This item produces an espresso amount of coffee. I will be getting the larger item to generate an amount closer to the desired 8oz. Photo added for reference to an original pod. As you can see, they look about the same, but the amount of coffee generated is not the same as the pod. Second photo shows the O-rings that were not explained in the instructions but are obvious replacements for the one already on the item that helps create a watertight seal. It is very compatible with the Nespresso Vertuo machine, and easy to clean. Make sure you grab it from the used pod catcher before emptying it in the trash and the opening process requires a tight grip on the top and bottom so that it will separate.

I love my Nespresso machine, but it does get a little costly, and I love the fact that these filters even exist! I like having long nails, but it does get a little hard sometimes to open up the top other than that Iâm in love

Waste of money
Used something similar to this in the past and worked well (can’t remember the brand). Although the quality seems to be well built, the espresso came out as hot water. Thought it was the espresso I was buying, so I bought a different brand and still the same thing happened. After spending money on not just this product, but multiple different brands of espresso, I am not impressed and very dissappinted. DO NOT BUY

I bought this to use in my Nespresso as the pods are so expensive. It is to hard to use and it really doesnt work well .
