I love the concept
I love the idea behind this grinder, I just felt like it took a very long time to grind enough coffee to make a full pot. If I was doing single cup pour-over, it would definitely be a great addition to my experience without having an electric grinder.

This review is for the Stainless Steel Coffee Grinder Lid Attachment for Regular Mouth Mason Jars – Manual Crank Burr Grinder for Fresh Coffee, Ideal for Camping, Home Barista, Rust Proof Ceramic Mechanism.Super excited when this popped into my offers! I had just been thinking about looking for one and there it was! LOL. I’m a coffee gal in the morning! My mom knows don’t try to talk to me before my coffee! LOL.I usually buy preground coffee for ease of making it and taste…., I have 2 fav brands. Awhile back mom got me some whole beans, Awesome! But I didn’t have a grinder. So they’ve been sitting sealed in there pouch in the cupboard….that’s just wasteful and a tragedy not to use them! LOL So now I can use them and if the power goes out I have backup! LOL.So wasn’t super happy with the packaging…I’m all for save the planet reduce reuse and all…. but this was shipped in a flimsy white box tossed in a plain brown paper shipping envelope… no padding and needless to say did not faire the best as the box was smushed open and parts spread inside the bag!So I hope there’s nothing wrong with it. I got it put back together and it seems ok, hope I’m not missing any parts LOL.OK got this tested and it fit on the mason jar fine. There were no issues with it. I’m happy with the grind. I don’t think the “play” in it is an issue. There has to be a little bit of room for it to work, to be able to turn the dial and the gears to move. There needs to be a little bit of room as it’s turning/grinding the coffee beans for what’s been ground to fall out around the bottom. Don’t try to put too much beans in ata time or grind it fast…smalls amounts, go slow, jiggle/shake it all down now and then as the floor in the grinder is flat….it needs to be sloped down toward the center so the beans progress and drop down to the grinder portion….This will be great to use. Can’t wait to do some fresh ground beans in my new percolator stainless steel coffee pot when it arrives!Sadly this isn’t available currently.As always I only do honest reviews and update if needed. I hope this helps you make the best choices how to spend your $.

I only make one cup of coffee a day and so only grind about a tablespoon at a time. It’s perfect for me.

Not my first time at the coffee-grinding rodeo
I knew what to expect, not to overload it with too many coffee beans, and not to grind to fine at first. Still, on my first try–with only a tablespoon of beans in the tub, and the grind as coarse as it could be set–the grinder self-destructed. Judging by my sample of 1, this might be better-viewed as a kitchen decoration rather than as a coffee grinder you occasionally put to use. It does look nice!

Great grinder
Got this specifically for grinding Himalayan salt and it hasn’t disappointed me at all. Set it to how course you want it, from powder to rough, and it’ll get it done. Just attach it to a Ball type jar and it’s done.
