Heavy, good quality bar mats
These bar mats are exactly as described in the listing and perfect for what I needed. My espresso machine is so light that when it slides around easily when I try to remove the portafilter. This mat helps prevent slippage and it easily catches any drips or spills. It’s easy to rinse too. The mat is thick and heavy, very flexible, but it feels like good quality for the price. Unfortunately for me, one of rhe mats had a tear or rip along one of the corners. I’ve chosen to keep it and just hide it under the other coffee machine. I still give it 5 stars because that tear looked so straight and seamless, that I suspect someone accidentally sliced it, with an exacto knife perhaps, while unboxing a large shipment for smaller packaging.

High quality rubber
I have two sets of bar mats. They look almost identical, but the S&T is made from much softer more pliable rubber/silicone. I prefer it to the stiffer ones. This stuff would also make great coasters. In fact, that’s what I use one of them for. I’ve tried slate, sandstone, cork. This is the only material where water does not puddle and make my iced drinks adhere to the glass so the coaster comes up with glass… until it drops in my lap.Yes, they have a strong smell at first. That goes away. Yes, they come rolled tightly and you have to re-roll them the opposite way, but it’s no problem for anyone but the ultra fussy.

Good product, but warped from shipping
I really like the size and the quality of these mats. The only issue is that the come rolled up for shipping and even after sitting out for 2 weeks, they still have some warping/rolling from shipping. Otherwise, they are really good and seem to be well made. They are easy to wash and dry quickly.

Perfect for under coffee machines
I put these under our espresso machine and our Keurig, and we love them. They catch all the grounds and drops, so no more grainy or sticky counters! They are very easy to clean too. They come rolled up pretty tight, but ours laid flat really quickly after putting them down.They are pretty thick, so you may need to double check they’ll fit if you’re using them for something that sits underneath an upper cabinet.

I got this because it was cheap! It was exactly what I was looking for, and a 2 for the price of a single mat from other brands. They came a little bit warped from being rolled up, but not much of an issue.I wanted this to put under my coffee grinder and espresso machine. The coffee grounds got everywhere, and it was difficult to keep our counters clean. The mat was too big, but I cut it pretty easily with a pair of scissors, and put the extra piece behind to make it look a little nicer. I put the extra mat on our bar cart, and it looks great! (And so useful)So is this the best product ever? Probably not. Is it the best bar mat ever? I mean, it was 2 for $16, so also probably not, but it is a great value and it’s worked pretty well so far.

What’s that smell?
Ok…. I love the non-slip bottom. The uniform nubs on top. But my god…. the smell. When they arrived it was like someone was burning tires. We soaked them in dish soap. We soaked them with vinegar. We air dried them out on the front railing. They still smell. Just not nearly as bad. If you leave anything on it to dry, expect it to smell like rubber. If anyone has been able to kill that smell, please by all that is holy, drop me a comment. If I could just get rid of that they’d be pretty darn perfect for what I need them for. For mixing drinks.EDIT 5/14/20: Figured I’d update on that initial comment about the smell. They did smell pretty strong when they came, but they have since faded. What I ended up doing was wash them in soapy water, rinsed them, and then I let them air dry in the warm sun out on the front railing outside. That seemed to do the trick. So they came smelling funky but I changed my three star to five. Because they really are great for the bar, and a smell is sometimes something that you just deal with at first with rubber.

Great product and great price. It comes in 2 packs and together they were exactly the right size to go under my coffee machine and to create a space in front where I could prepare drinks and coffee and not worry about spilling. Itâs very sticky under so it stays where itâs sooo use to be. Recommend 100%!

Much better than towels and metal drying rack for drying cups. Allows air flow so moisture doesn’t get trapped. Run through the dishwasher every couple weeks to sanatize.

Cut the mat lengthwise in half, cut a round hole near the end of one half for the faucet shaft, and used both on the counter between my sink and the backsplash all 35 inches long/wide. There remained about 1/8 inch overlap into the sink permitting the water to drain from the mat into the sink. I envisioned it and it came out better than my wife and I expected.
