This Sourdough Starter Jar is pretty large and easy to clean because of the wide mouth. It makes feeding my starter much easier. The accompanying scraper works great for getting the sides of the jar clean after feeding as well as stiring my starter. The bamboo lid fits snuggly and creates a good seal. The cloth cover is good quality. The thermometer works well but I don’t typically use those. I like the measuring band for keeping track of how my starter is rising after feeding. This is a great beginner set because it’s so easy to use and the Value is Good!
